Brimmed Cap Olly AU Headcannon, Here Me Out

⚠️⚠️THIS WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS OR MENTIONS OF SPOILERS, IF YOU HAVENT READ WHA YET, PLEASE SCROLL PAST⚠️⚠️

Ok, so, if you’ve seen my sketches of Brimmed Cap Olruggio, here’s a little writing behind it. My thinking is as follows…

Olruggio, the devoted idiot that he is to Qifrey, finds out about the silver wood curse, and before Qifrey has time to erase his memory of it, Olly disappears with the knowledge of the curse intact and why Qifrey keeps erasing them. Qifrey is distraught, but as much as he wants to run after him, is reminded of his four apprentices he has to care for first, something Olly would remind him.

A few years pass, no one has seen the witch of the torch, some think he was captured by the brimmed caps, others think he perished while helping someone, etc. in reality, Olly has spent some time reflecting on everything, and has decided on his own accord to join the brimmed caps, solely to find a cure for Qifrey. Work with the enemy who hurt him, to find an antidote spell. Instead of being the torch, he be the brimmed cap of scorched earth, The Witch of Scorched Earth, as, each time he thinks he’s found a cure it backfires, and so destroys everything within his wake. And Olly only destroys forests, no humans are harmed, as much as he would love to burn the brimmed after what they did to Qifrey, the warm good person is still there, so takes out his frustration on silverwood trees and such…

Now, these random forest fires do catch the attempt the knights moralis, Qifrey hears of this, sends the girls to BELDARUIT for safe guarding, and follows. He sees Olly, surrounded in blue flame which turns to that familiar warm glow of orange and yellow when Olly sees Qifrey. Throw in a scene where Qifrey is screaming for Olly to come home, and Olruggio says not until he finds a way to reverse his curse. Olly even suggests for Qifrey to join him. Under ollys protection, the brimmed caps could leave him alone, even the apprentices.

More words said, and soon Olruggio has to retreat, and then it’s a formulaic situation where the atelier find brimmed cap modelling, Olly is there, the kids beg him to come home and they miss him
