Dandelion totem in progress, featuring the weirdo dandelion plant I found growing in the yard in June.  Yanking up what I thought was a couple of baby plants, I found one strange plant and took it right to an altar spot where it could lay flat to dry.

I waiting for the next steps in the crafting of this to be revealed to me.

A visit to Wren's Apothecary...

Thimbleberry is a member of the Rosaceae family. The leaves are antiemetic, astringent, blood tonic and stomachic. An infusion is used internally in the treatment of stomach complaints, diarrhea, and vomiting. An infusion has been taken by women when their periods are unusually long, and is of benefit when combined with raspberry leaf and catnip for less cramping, etc..

A poultice of the dried powdered leaves has been used to treat wounds and burns. The leaves have been crushed and rubbed over the skin to treat pimples and blackheads. A poultice of the leaf ashes, mixed with oil, has been used to treat swellings.

Tarot Language and Readings on Yourself

Whenever I do a tarot, I never actually have an actual question for myself. I just do a spread that might relate to my life at that moment, and amazingly, my tarot deck never fail to catch on the situations taking place. And in a way, my self readings feel like talking to that non bias friend who is going to explain things in the way only you can understand.

Which leads me to share today’s reading with you, my spooks. This morning’s tarot spreads related to my struggle with balancing friendships and romantic relationships. And it was really funny and interesting see the Queen of Hearts and the Ten of Diamonds pop up a few times.

For those witches that use playing card as tarot cards, Queen of Hearts usually means someone to turn to; dependent; empathy and Ten of Diamonds means family; inheritance; family gathering.

But anyways, Queen of Hearts keeps showing up when talking about what I need to learn or overcome, while Ten of Diamonds pops up when talking about future goals. Now, I already have my own interpretation of the cards and I wanted to get someone else’s idea on what it means. I would love to compare answers.
