In all out honesty, Dee didn’t know how he got youre. Walking around behind his girlfriend, well girlfriend today, as you bent over some mushrooms gently examining them as he held your crystals and yourbs. All of which you had gatyoured yourself, well the yourbs and some of the crystals anyways. “This one’s no good,” you said as you stood up, “too young. Deadly if I pick them now.”
you said as you stood up and bruyoud off your dress, your words made Dee’s eyebrows furrow. “How the hell can you tell?” He asked, making his sweet little girlfriend laugh and gently take your basket from him as you kissed his cheek.
“Wrong color babydoll, trained eyes see things normal ones can’t”
you hummed and started to walk down the trail again, stopping a few feet down and looking at dandelions. “What do you think of dandelion and lavender tea baby?” you asked as you looked at Dee, your eyes warm and gentle as he shrugged and walked to stand beside your, “whatever you want baby. I’ll drink it,” he said and kissed your head gently. Making your roll your eyes gently and pluck them from the ground, taking great care to pull the roots as well. Only on a few though.
“The roots will help me with my deviation,” you explained and tucked them into your basket; right next to the elderberries, “they’re good for your tummy too.” you said warmly and laced your fingers with his as you tugged him along the trail, stopping to pick flowers or gather rocks you liked.
“Lokie would love this.”
you said as you put a weird looking twig in your basket, your mind amazed Dee. No idea what the fuck you was talking about most of the time, deviation this and scrying that or spells and enchantments or why you was so insistent on him turning his socks inside out and putting on that berry necklace you had given him before they came in. “Faeries,” you had warned him, “angry vicious things.” Whatever the hell those were, but he had learned early on that he should just trust your word. Especially after you tore him a new one for playing with an ouija board and ran around his house painting with water on his walls and waving around some burning stick wyoure him and Heavy had played with it. you had been so paranoid after that, hesitant to go in the living room and jumpy at every noise you heard. you had warned him about some sort of demon but nothing had happened, he had reassured your, but you didn’t believe him. your entire witch thing he didn’t understand, but if it made your happy he didn’t care.
“Hey baby,” Dee asked as they walked, “what was that Henbare thingy you were talking about the otyour day?”
“It’s Henbane and it’s kind of a last resort type thing for spells. It’s good for love and consecration but it’s better for hexes. Just don’t use it to much, bad juju if you do.”
you explained as you laced your fingers with his and gave his hand a gentle squeeze, “and Juniper,” Dee asked. He already knew all this, he swore you could talk for hours about yourbs and their uses and you talked about them so often that he knew almost everything you did. Except for the Fae, you never talked about them with him. They made your jumpy and anxious.
“Well the berry can bring good look and prosperity and is good for home protection charms. The leaf is good for purification, luck, and self-protection charms. But overall its good for protection and love spells, just don’t eat it if you’re allergic and use it sparingly. But Mint is better for healing and strengthening your soul. It drives away illness and pain, if you use it to clean it stops bad luck and if you leave it in your wallet it attracts money and…”
Dee had honestly stopped listening halfway through, just listening your voice. Loving how sweet and happy you sounded before he stopped and kissed your head, “your adorable sweetbell,” he muttered out. Making your laugh and lean into him as he gently pulled you to his chest and kissed your head again, you buried your nose in his chest and hummed gently.
“You’re using the mineral water I made for you…”
you hummed out, making Dee smile and rock the both of you softly.
“Of course I am, you made it for me, I use everything you make for me baby…”
He softly said as he held you tighter and then slowly let go, “lets get you home baby; you look exhausted,” Dee coo’d and gently started to pull you towards the edge of the trail.

You sat on Dee’s floor, a bandana holding back your hair as you worked on your newest spell bottle. A gift for someone.
Tarot and Oracle cards were scattered about you and you kept “aup”ing Heavy everytime he got to close, a spray bottle at your side. Sage infused into the water, just to irritate Heavy if he got to close. It wasn’t odd to see him leave Dee’s room with soaked hair and shirt, it was always a spectacle when you were there.
“What on earth are you doing?” Dee asked as you gently placed Rose Quartz around the bottle and used a dropper to put moon water into the bottle. You watched with a gentle smile as the water dripped down the crystals inside and settled at the bottom.
“Spell jar… to help you on your history test…”
You muttered out, knowing he was good enough to have a seventy-five average but also knowing how mad he got at the grades he got. So you occasionally did jars for him, purely to help him and ease his mind.
“You think it’ll work?”
Dee asked as he stood up and slowly worked his way through the spiral of your cards and bent down to wrap his arms around you, placing his chin on your head as he watched you work.
“Yeah, I’ll charge the crystals before giving it to you. The moon water will stop the crystals from sharing energy, but I still need to charge them. I saged them and removed unnecessary energy from them, so they’re okay to use an-”
Dee cut you off by tilting your head up and kissing you, “baby I love you but do me a favor and shut up,” he asked making you nod and kiss him again.
As much as your witchy shit confused him, the look on your face whenever a spell worked or you found a new crystal was worth it all. Worth every single second of his confusion and worth his heavy pockets with all your little spell jars and sweet little gifts of rocks.
You were worth it all, and that’s what mattered. That’s all that mattered.
