"Witcher fans are some of most spoiled fantasy fans I’ve ever encountered, they have one of the greatest video games of all time, ( with more being made) really good audiobooks, comics, and audioplay with different actors, numerous role playing games based on the books, a super active fan community, do you know how many other fantasy book communities would kill to have that?
But apparently you think it all gets erased because of one bad tv show, most of us only get a bad movie or tv show, be grateful for what you have"
"For some bizarre reason, the first time I looked at Astarion (BG3) I thought he looked like an young Regis and now I can't play either game without this thought anymore..."
"None of the adaptations or the books are perfect. I'm so tired of the negativity around the Netflix series when largely, the negativity is driven by racist and sexist people. I wish there were more positive fans out there who just enjoyed it for all its faults and all its improvements. It had both in equal measure, as with all versions of the Witcher."
"Olgierd didn't deserve Iris"
"Want Ciri to follow the Path as a witcheress? Good! Want Ciri to change the world as an Empress of Nilfgaard? Good! Want her to let Geralt and Emhyr think she's dead? That's good too! Let us enjoy the game/books and make AUs and headcanons however we want!"
"Poverty, racism and witch hunters aside, I think Novigrad it's beautiful city. I especially love the store/house interiors. Would love to live in one."
