Weyard /cannot/ be round in its present form. (039)
I've talked around a bit, and have noticed that a lot of people seem to be Round Weyard Athiests. Allow me to put your skepticism to rest.
Weyard, in its current state, cannot possibly be round. Why do you ask this? Well, look at the landmass itself. If Weyard was round, then you cannot reach either the north or south poles, and the eastern and western seas are not connected, dropping off into a set of giant waterfalls. So, if Weyard used to be round, then it no longer can be - at worst, Weyard is a cone. At best, it's probably a really stretched out cone who's face is stretched ~270 degrees, tops.
Does that mean Weyard could never be round? Of course not. If you really insist, then thanks to the Golden Sun, Weyard's now started to heal. That means that maybe in a few hundred years Weyard will start to connect together, and you'll be able to circumnavigate. A few hundred years later, and it'll be a full globe.
Of course, there are many of us out there who believe that Weyard is flat, as evidenced by maps from the Lost Golden Era which seem to confirm this. However, this then begs the question... A flat world has two sides. What then, is on the flip side?
