When the curtain was lifted, most people were probably frightened by the horrible creatures that were starting to crawl out from the portal. But that’s not what Mitchell saw first. Because right there, under the Christmas tree, was what looked horribly close to Forest, and he wasn’t moving. At all. While the most of the crowd was already running away in fear, Mitch was just standing there, unable to move or to react. In fact, all he did was tightening his grip of Asia’s hand involuntarily.

When the ball was announced, Mitchell knew the only person he could even think about going with was Asia. He was lucky enough she agreed, or he would’ve gone alone, or just stayed home. They had decided to meet up there, and he was way earlier than his usual self. He blamed it on the excitement. But despite all the people walking past him, his eyes barely lingered on anyone, only trying to spot her through the crowd. And when he finally spotted her, his eyes just couldn’t leave her anymore. “You erhm... You look... very pretty.” He finally managed to blurt out after a moment or staring silently.
