When Noah heard she was coming in the show, he didn't realize that it was her at first. He opened up that week's lineup and paused when he read the name. He didn't remember booking her, but here she was. At first, he wasn't sure what to do. He texted Teagan about it because that's always his natural reaction to anything bizarre in his life. She told him to stay calm and not to worry about it. Noah figured she didn't know him, but now he actually knew about her. Then, as she stepped out on the show, Noah was stunned. She was in heels that night, and she towered over him, and she simply... glowed. She was a sort of radiant that people don't come across often, and when she spoke, Noah felt absolutely floored. Somehow, he asked all the right questions and she just came off more and more incredible. Then, he managed to say, "Actually, this may surprise you but we almost met a few years back." She tilted her head, her eyes crinkled, her head tilted ever so slightly as she asks, "How?" "You met a very close friend of mine, named Wolfgang, but we never met. Isn't that strange?" When he said his name he saw something flash in her eyes and he couldn't tell if he should regret saying that or not. She played it off so well though, just laughing. "Really? And we didn't meet then?" Noah played along, just nodding excitedly. "Right? How crazy is that?" That launched her into a story. "I met him when I first moved to the city, I was just really alone.. and he was the first person that I met who seemed interested in all aspects of who I was. Meeting people like that is hard! I'm awful at meeting people." They kept talking like that, and Noah could just see how Wolfgang could have fallen for her. Part of his heart ached when he realized that they weren't together. He would have thought if they dated years ago the pain would have numbed out by now. But when he saw her staring down at her lap during commercial he knew that there was something they were all missing.
