For the record if I read one more fic saying someone tucked their wand behind their ear, im gonna "x for doubt" because I just tried with my wands and they're TOO LONG so unless your wand is like 11" or shorter, NO YOU CANNOT DO THAT.
And if I go back through my own fics and find I have written someone doing this I will gently YEET myself into a fucking firepit.
Wizard Wood Wands Is a Scam!!!
I’m making this post so that if people google this company, they’ll know the truth.
Wizard Wood Wands ( wizardwands.net ) is a scam company! I ordered my custom wand from them in 2013 and I never received it. Website itself doesn’t rise any flags, they have gallery with people who are happy with their unique wands, so I thought it would be safe. Little did I knew that I should have looked up better online.
Here and here are numerous other people reporting that they got scammed. Crafting custom wands takes a lot of time, so by the time they stopped replying to my emails, (they sent couple to angry customers like me saying that they weren’t scam and they had high volume orders and would ship soon) it was too late to open a dispute with paypal. I’m posting this so same thing doesn’t happen to you. In the future, if you are unsure about a website and it’s trustworthiness, make sure to google them and check if they have any social media accounts, people are bound to reply if something goes wrong. Also another reason is that I wanted to look up other crafty businesses and these assholes are still active and one of the first results on google, I don’t want others to be lied to the same way I did, they need to be taken down!
