DUKE!!!!!!!!!

Well once again I am here to talk to you about basketball. This week I will be talking to you about My favorite college team Duke. Duke this year has three senior starters, but one of their starters sustained a leg injury and is out indefinitely. Ever since Ryan Kelly injured his leg, they have not been the same. They had lost their first game right after he had injured his leg and it looked as if their season was about over. Well they did not. Right now they are more than likely to win the number one spot and this is a big week for them. This week they play their rivals,North Carolina Tar Heels. They have been waiting for this game for a while. All that I am saying is they better beat the "Tar" out of some heels.

Stop blinking!!! {21}

A few years ago I went through a major growth spurt. In the beginning of the Summer I stood at a mere 5'4 and was a really pudgy child. A month later I was 6'0" and skinny like a toothpick. Even though this was a great thing for me it came with some consequences. Apparently my bones had grown faster than my nerves and muscles. This in turn cause me to develop a set of ticks that lasted for about two years. First it was nonstop blinking, and I mean nonstop. I was told I even blinked in my sleep. Then there was the mouth twitching, and when the blinking stopped my eyes would open wide and it looked like I was always surprised. My nose would scrunch up my back would arch like I was getting stabbed and my I would unknowingly bang the tips of my shoes one the floor. These ticks brought about pain in my body an that last one kept breaking my shoes. When the doctors heard they sent me to get tested for everything for Tourettes to brain tumors. They've never seen anything like this which was kinda discomforting. Nevertheless we finally found a way to treat the ticks. After about six months of physical therapy, I was almost completely tick free. Besides one or two minor things I was fine. This was all before my high school days. Fast forward to January 2013. We had just come back and I was supposed to get homecoming set up. Now I don't know if it was the stress or the consecutive nights of loss of sleep but I have started to blink again. It started with obvious styes in both eyes then redness and irritation and then... Blink. Blink. Blink. I really don't know what to do. My doctor gave me some eye drops, but it made it worse... Typical. Any ways I really don't know if I can stop it but I think I just have to let it pass. I may have trouble reading and my eyes may be heavy all day, but hey what is a guy gonna do right?

Super Bowl 47! Wk21

Yea football!!! Like most families, my family has a yearly tradition for the NFL Super Bowl. We all come together at my uncles house to watch the game, eat nachos, and enjoy the best part of this time of year-the commercials. This year I invited my friend Nick Palmer over, cause you know he's legit. Anyhow we all were ready to watch the game. Everyone,except my uncle X, was going for the 49ers. They did horrible in the first half. They only scored 3 points in the entire half, while the Ravens scored 28! We were not as loud as we usually are doing the first half because of this, but we all made some noise when Beyoncé came out during the half time show!! Heck ya she killed it out there! Now I would go into more detail about the second half but there has been a power shortage in the stadium... Not cool. I'm hoping my 49ers come back like they have all season and take it back!!!

My Saturday... (Wk 21)

This week I am not really sure what to exactly blog about, I'm at a loss here. So I am gonna blog about what I did this Saturday. Well on Friday night, I was playing Xbox until like 12:15 -ish with my brother and Garett so I went to bed kinda late and I probably shouldn't have because I had a rehearsal at dance from 10:00-12:00 on Saturday morning. But anyways I finally woke up around 8:30 after my alarm going off multiple times, I finally got up. Well, I wasn't feeling very good, yep I am getting sick. I guess my sneezing spasm in the middle of the night was the start of it all. But anyways, I got to dance along with a few of my other little friends and we were practicing our solo dances for an upcoming competition that we will be having in a few weeks. Sadly throughout the whole rehearsal I just felt like I kept getting sicker by the minute. But, I toughed it out and kept dancing! :) so after rehearsal, I went home and took some medicine and got something to eat and took a shower, went to my aunts house, and layed down because I was needing to rest to be able to babysit that night. So after that I got ready and I left to go and babysit. I am right now, blogging and babysitting. The 2 girls I am babysitting right now are 10 and 11. They are just two balls of fun and energy! They put on dance shows and pageants and we play just dance and the wii and we have the best of times! Right now we are watching the tv show "Dance Moms". It's fun being able to hangout with these girls because they are dancers as well! Well... This was their idea to blog about, "A day in the life of Allie", I hope you guys liked it! :) sadly the wifi didn't decide to work so now I am at home... Late blog tonight. :o
