i never understood this either. the quality of education outside of the us is mostly better and often cheaper. us education is poor and has more holes than a whole emmental cheese. but employers insist on overlooking people who don't have degrees from us schools? why the fresh hell is that. why do they insist on doing that despite the facts

i've been educated in the us since like? basically forever but whenever i go to another country i ask whoever is in school if i can go with them to their university and just sit in on classes and like they get such a nicer education than i do and i'm so jealous but like whenever i talk to them about they're always like "no stick with america your degree will mean more" and it's so frustrating that they're right because tbh i don't feel like i'm learning anything worthwhile even in college
