Firstly I’m really sorry that my first post in ages isn’t about Archery… But turning 40 during lockdown, meant that my midlife crisis hit hard! 😅 Partly trying to recapture my youth and partly an effort to try and get in shape, I needed something as well as Archery to occupy my mind. So I decided to get back into baseball, I played a little when I was a kid and in my 20s, it’s always been a game that fascinated me, The pace and the strategy as well as been able to hit things with a bat! (i’ve also used the throwing a baseball analogy many times to try and explain instinctive archery many times) I’m proud to say That I have managed to blag myself onto the @brum_baseball (Birmingham Metalhead’s) roster, as a second baseman. Although I’m little more then an alternate/bench warmer at the moment. i’m having an absolute blast, and I’d forgotten how much I enjoy being part of a team again!
