• being at the bar and you’ve stepped out or away for a moment, someone comes up to him in attempts to get more than just his attention and he’s instantly taking off his hat and grabbing the photo. imagine a southern drawl maybe whenever he says, “ain’t she the prettiest you’ve ever laid eyes on?” and he’s smirking as the person walks away, knowing he’s a loyal and taken man.
• wranglers going to round up some cattle and whenever they get back to the ranch with a herd with them, he’s instantly scanning the ranch for you. whenever he lays eyes on you, he’s instantly smirking knowing that you’ve acknowledged his hard work. as soon as the wranglers have put away the cows, he’s hopping off his horse and making his way to you to get his prize - which is always a kiss from you.
• all of the work on the ranch has been completed for the day, you’re sitting on the porch of y’all’s home with maybe a beer in your hand whenever he saunters to you. he takes off his hat, holding it to his chest, “come on, doll, i wanna show you something.” while reaching out his hand for you. he just needs to unwind with you in his presence, and what’s better than going on a quick ride?
• being at the rodeo, holding hands while the other wranglers place bets. every time the gate opens and a bucking horse lets out, you let out a whoop and holler and squeeze his hand out of cheer, leaning forward to the other wranglers to partake in their bets. luke smiles and hops on your bet.
this made me restart yellowstone AGAIN!! also i’ve got a few ideas for pbr!hughes 🤭 stay tuned.
