Wait, I just realized that ever since book 5 all the DoD knew that ex-queen scarlet was alive, but according to carnelian in book 6, she and a lot of other skywings are pretty sure that Scarlet is dead which implies that the DoD NEVER told queen Ruby that her evil dictator mother is still alive and seeking vengeance, and it’s not like it’s a secret either, Starflight casually told Moonwatcher that Scarlet has a dream visitor and could be stalking peoples dreams. so like. what the hell. Did you just forget to tell her or something? does queen Ruby know but she’s just hiding it from her subjects to not freak them out or anything? Because I think it would freak them out even more if Scarlet just kind of shows up out of nowhere. Which she does. Why the fuck didn’t they tell her
