Dark Spyro wolf’s rain au?

here ya go @spearitsandmonsters! gonna tag in @transrobro​ too who also requested wolf’s rain!dark spyro! 

The light blue-grey wolf lies still, the wind catching his fur the only source of motion beyond his ragged breaths.

Stretching out the kinks in his legs, Kasai bares his teeth at the unconscious form of his false twin. ‘Let the Nobles deal with him.’  He can already hear them, arriving in their fancy ship like the shadows they were.

But he’s in no hurry to hide from them.

Why should he?  

Instead he sits down. Waiting. And as they arrive, he watches in satisfaction as the Noble’s troops - not even caring to cast a glance his way - carry the unconscious body of the wolf towards the ship. He feels the burning stare of his Master, who he stares right back at and catches sight of one of his hands clasping at strands of his new captor’s fur through the bars of the cage.

Then those bright feverish eyes are sealed off from him, the ship flaring up into the air and away across the brightening sky.

And Kasai stands back up, shaking himself.

... First he’ll find a good patch of damp clay to conceal this dark fur of his, then track down the spores of ol’ Kaji’s pack... 

Trotting away from the broken down remnants of the human shack, he casts his gaze across the gloomy landscape, his nose twitching.

The sooner he finds them, the faster will his true work begin...
