First Meetings

Ciri had been at Kaer Mohern training her magic. She had a better handle on it than she had done before, and she wanted to be able to control it even more and maybe be as powerful as Yennefer. Or any of the other mages that she had heard of. Although, she had been adamant that she wanted to train at Kaer Mohern and not at Aretuza. 

The young woman, had barely noticed anyone else coming into the room. Her concentration had all been on her magic. Although she knew she would have probably been picked up on the fact that she wasn’t aware of her surroundings.

She really couldn’t catch an break apparently it seemed. When everything was settled, at least much could be with the blood that had been shed. Found herself heading towards Ivy. Crouching down trying to ignore her own nerves, the shaking of her hands especially seeing she was wounded. “Ivy.”

Ivy wasn’t even sure why she was going to the Jade Wolf. Habit, maybe? She adjusted her bag over her shoulder, sighing as she entered the restaurant, but when she look up she froze in place, staring at in shock at who was inside. “...Maia?” She asked, her eyes widening. ((Wolfofnewyork))

It wasn’t her first stop when she got back; but she dropped by to check on the pack and hearing Luke wasn’t exactly there found herself lingering. Some obligation to maybe pick up the slack. To deal with how panicked the ones around seemed. But she was relatively tired and ideally could use some sleep first. 

Having eaten some food and settled into an booth laying across the bench. On hearing Ivy’s voice though sat up more. “Hey.”

Maia took in a deep breath, “I just- it’s complicated and-.” Closing her eyes to regain her composure. “Part of me feels guilty because maybe I’m not as upset I should be.”

“Yes, haven’t tested the theory myself though.” Maia gently brushed her fingers through Ivy’s hair. “I’ve got some painkillers if you think they might help?” Allowing herself to settle an bit on the bed. Taking her focus off the schoolwork she had been doing.

Ivy looked around the Jade Wolf as she stepped in. Luke had given her the address, and asked her to come once she was released from the hospital. Her head already felt so stuffed with information. Werewolves, vampires, warlocks? They were the stuff of legend... how was she supposed to believe that they existed... let alone that she was one of them now? Maia was occupying a table; comfortable on the bench doing coursework. However her attention was grabbed by somebody looking around anxiously. Thinking before getting up from the booth. “Looking for something?” Bit harsher than she meant but Maia couldn’t help being blunt.
