hi....... behind the scenes fact: the first pic is referenced from an irl pic of me posing with a lifesized standee of frankenstein's monster at the epic universe preview center in citywalk orlando. i do in fact look this happy in the pic.

anyway. foolishness now. behold my most self indulgent work yet

while ive been in love w the concept of the creature since i was like 16, ive never committed to drawing myself with him until like, summer 2025. before i'd just try to conceptualize retellings or modern adaptations of frankenstein where the main character totally isnt me.

anyway, now what ive got is technically a darkmoor self insert for a story i have w a friend (hi friend :]), but its so far removed from anything truly happening in darkmoor. i used the "there are multiple frankenstein experiments and iterations of the creature spanning ~150 years" bit of lore to convince myself that a slightly more book-accurate creature exists and escaped darkmoor and is playing in the woods. i call him adam bc the old fandom-assigned name for him grew on me and im not creative enough to give him a different one.

um anyway this guy is just me but a werewolf. my name is rae, im really cool and i howl at the moon. and my boyfriend is eight feet tall.
