a/n: idk what caused me to write about this but dad Logan is the loml at the moment so…

he’s staring at you holding her in your arms, a small smile gracing his rough features, a contrast to his usual scowl.
You look up at Logan, holding her up for him to carry, her little beady eyes looking curiously at the man in front of her now.
He raised an eyebrow at you, you nodding and smiling. Slowly, and hesitantly, he took her into his arms, his hand supporting the back of her head. It was like his little girl and you were the only things in the world at the moment, like time had stopped for his family.
Tears ran down his face, “She has your eyes.” He murmured gently, and you swear it’s the softest you’ve heard him spoke.
“And she has your big ass head of hair.” You retorted, making him laugh out inbetween his silent cries.
“You do, don’t you, girl?” He murmured to her, her head tilting slightly to the side, her mouth opening to reveal her gums, which made him shake his head and laugh even more.
It was adorable to see a tiny swaddle of blankets in his large, beefy arms that practically engulfed her.
she began to cry again, he quickly handed her off to the nurses, watching them for a moment before turning to you, pulling up a chair next to your bed, grabbing your hand. The small gesture made you look at him with a small smile, he gave you a small smile back.
He knew at that moment, when he saw you look up at him, and her beady eyes stare back at his, that he would protect the both of you, his little family, until he day he fucking died.
