I just watched Natalie Portman’s speech at Women’s March 2018 on youtube. 👍🏼
Long story short, she said that women should be able to express their desires and needs and their sexuality without having to fear for their reputation and the safety of their own body. ❤️
I fully agree with her.
Then there’re these comments below saying things like, “oh this is Kylo Ren’s grandma.” And someone else said, “oh hey she’s Thor’s girlfriend.”
Which proved that we fucking need women’s rights. I fucking can’t with people refering to a woman by saying she is [insert a man’s name and an objective right here] 😫
Natalie Portman fucking won an Oscar for Best Actress.
If an Oscar winner is referred to as a man’s this and a man’s that then what chance do the rest of us have to be treated with respect in our daily life? We need women’s rights. We need changes.
