Okay so I've watched through episode 8 and half of episode 9 of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo so far, but I have no idea how the plot is going to make me jump from loving Wook to loving So (which I'm expecting from the gifs/pics I've seen from future episodes). Like???? Wook and Soo have had actual moments of mutual affection, and they have progressed into their current state in a slow and steady and good way. Ya know, other than the part where Wook was married to Lady Hae and then realized he loved her, but I get it, people are complicated (plus politics, etc.). Right now So is creeping me out. I understand why he's into Soo, but she doesn't seem to feel that way about him, and he's being way too possessive and stalker-y. I would say the scene with So almost kissing Soo is parallel to Yo and Yeon-Hwa's scene (maybe less overtly uncomfortable, but still). So I don't get it. I'm not sure I want it. I want Wang So to continue on this upward development and to find love, but I don't want Wook's heart to be broken or Soo to be forced into anything. UGH. Anyway, Baek-Ah is still stealing my heart and being a perfect cinnamon roll, so I'll just let that sustain me for now.
