Adding onto the whole,, ooh hehe Starscream made a deal with literal robot Satan and got an immortal spark out of it thing. Couple of the folks on reddit suggested that while his frame and spark can withstand regenerating over and over again and cycling through different forms, there’s no guarantee that his mind can.

Kind of explains why he never seems to learn that, ultimately, his treacherous schemes and whatnot won’t succeed, and will most likely end in him getting offlined.

Can’t be easy waking up from your latest, “rebirth” exhausted and unsure as to whether or not the memories in your head actually happened, or if you tried that road to power, or if Skywarp and Thundercracker died because of you or because of a freak accident.
