tell me abt this blue dude 'n how he knows vanny. are they copycat killers, is he an au will equivilant, is he someone from the [fictionalized] ar team like luis, what's up with him? why does vanny know him? what does she think of him and why is she so damn good at painting masks?

Oh my god ok so Blue guy (or bluesy).

Hes just an emo guy working a shit job at a pizzeria that he hates (not freddy fazbears. this is after its closing entirely) 

He and Vanny are close friends who met from school. They kinda visit each other like, everyday and like each other. (this is an older doodle than the one above thts why his hair is different)

He isn’t a copycat killer, but he and vanny know of wilsons cases and crimes and being idiots who have bad or absent parents they end up looking up to wilson/thinking hes cool. Vanny even takes pride later in kinda helping wilson when she was younger + the fact that her dad worked with him (dave and his relationship with wil influenced vanny, she didnt like wilson at the time but when he becomes big news she wanted to be apart of the “glory”)

So now the two are looking for ways to bring him back so they can all be criminals and cool and be on the news or whatever. it doesnt go well though.

(and vanny just likes making masks/crafts without following any “art rules”)

the two of them used to couple costume a lot when they were teens and they basically went through everything iconique, most notable joker and harley, chucky and tiffany, and velma and daphne

now theyre exes and its a lil cringe and theyre a lil too old for halloween.. for parties vannie goes all dressed up as like sexy nurse, sexy cat girl, those genderbend sexy movie slasher outfits shit, you kno from these figures. has a good hand with makeup and special effects, so if she decides to make it more gorey She Can

tape lady for which i should decide a name now lol is more into creating her own outfits and combining them with masks inspired by horror media. has outfits inspired by peachfuzz from creep and vicar amelia from bloodborne. if she doesnt have the time for elaborate costume design a casual lara croft or claire redfield are fine too lel

🔥 just for like... The Internet as a concept in general. what is your wisdom

see i saw this really good post a while ago that talked about just that- how early internet felt more like a land with no set rulers, where people were still experimenting with all of the possibilities and things that could be done, corporations not really having a hold on it yet. and how now the internet has been dominated by everyone, your familys there, and everyone is connected.

im not here to be as cynical though, i feel like to a certain point its good that we can communicate so easily and people have more access to information now. but i think that DOES explain the feeling of nostalgia about early days internet. all the overly specific pages about funny pointless inconsequential stuff made me happy. the rise and fall of forum based pet games. the golden age of doll makers and flash games.

thing is, we can romanticize early internet all we want. it was still also a perfect breeding ground for weird, gross shit, and for kids to get exposed to stuff they definitely shouldnt be looking at, and that could be traumatizing, or at the very least, give them nightmares for weeks, just because someone decided to be an asshole.

in the end, your time on the internet is defined by you and your choices. i was always a very shy and cautious kid, so i spent my time playing flash games and going into kids sites. the most i had was messenger with my sister and some school friends. i rarely had run ins with actually bad stuff, and when i did, i knew how to jump out. maybe other kids werent so lucky though. but i was, and thats why im privileged to say i have good memories of my early years on the internet.

the internet can never be good or bad. its a tool. like pencils or hammers. the internet is what you make of it.
