its hard being a muppet fan because the muppets nowadays are kinda like a joke to people. like "who is gonna be the subject of my crackfic? oh yeah kermit the frog."

and yes i do admittedly read muppet fanfiction except the muppet fandom tag is filled with crackfics but Dude. im serious about this. if i dont see any actual fics about walter and scooter falling in love im gonna freak out, y'know.

and this is also why its so hard to tell people about my muppets hyperfixation because to outsiders the muppets is this very unserious concept. but it is So serious. you dont understand!
