I just can’t get over how immersive and enthralling the book aND film of call me by your name are. The book was one thing- made you feel as if you yourself were Elio Perlman, falling in love with Oliver, experimenting things with Marzia and yourself (haha). I honestly thought that there was no way they could translate this onto a screen. It just seemed impossible, but wow...wow! Luca Guadagnino really did it, he really managed to pull it off in the most beautiful and mesmerizing way. As did Timothée and Armie. I’m just, wow! really overwhelmed by how amazing it is.
