🏥 With my #physicaltherapy & #musclerecovery I take A LOT of #epsomsalt baths. 🧼 I’ve tried a lot of different ones and finally found a solid winner. My go to soaking salt is @coachsoak for sure 💪🏼❤️ - - It uses the muscle-soothing benefits of magnesium in magnesium flakes, which are proven to absorb quicker and better than Epsom salt. Combine that with amazing essential oils, and your bath is like a slice of heaven wrapped in muscle magic! Trust me, I know (at least one bath a day for the last 3 yrs!) 😀🙌🏼 🛁 🛁 🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁🛁 - I am excited to be doing a GIVEAWAY in which THREE winners will be randomly chosen to win a bag of @coachsoak of their choice. 🙌🏼 - GIVEAWAY! Here's how to enter: ❤️Like this post 👉🏻Follow @coachsoak 👫Tag a Friend (the more friends in separate comments gets you more entries!) —- - - The three winners will be chosen on Tuesday 12/31 and announced via DM and in comments. A thing nobody tells you when you start working out seriously:
water is not enough. this sounds like supplement industry nonsense but it's actually just physiology. when you sweat, you don't just lose water — you lose sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. these aren't optional minerals. they regulate muscle contraction, nerve signals, fluid balance, and about forty other things your body needs to function during exercise. when those levels drop, you cramp. you feel that weird heavy fatigue mid-session. your heart rate spikes faster than it should. you hit a wall that has nothing to do with fitness and everything to do with mineral depletion. sports drinks exist for a reason. the problem is most of them are basically sugar water with a tiny amount of actual electrolytes. the better move is getting electrolytes without the sugar spike — so your energy stays stable, your muscles stay functional, and you actually feel good through the whole session instead of just the first twenty minutes. hydration is a skill. it sounds basic. it kind of is. but so many people overlook it and then blame their genetics when they're dragging by the end of a workout. drink smarter. your body is trying to tell you something every time you cramp.
Drinking this Peach Recovery Smoothie with yogurt is a tasty and healthy way to get ready for the day or recover from a workout. It's a great choice for a healthy breakfast or snack because it's full of protein, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Ingredients: 1 cup frozen peaches. 1/2 cup Greek yogurt. 1/2 banana. 1/2 cup almond milk. 1 tablespoon honey. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Ice cubes optional.
Instructions: Place frozen peaches, Greek yogurt, banana, almond milk, honey, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon in a blender. Add ice cubes if you prefer a thicker smoothie or for extra refreshment. Blend on high until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness if needed, by adding more honey or almond milk. Pour the Peach Recovery Smoothie into a glass, and enjoy immediately!

things i learned the hard way about working out in summer:
sweat isn't just water. it's sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium — minerals your muscles literally need to contract and relax properly. every time you sweat heavily and only drink water, you're diluting what little electrolytes you have left.
this is why cramps happen. this is why post-workout exhaustion hits harder in july than january.
the fix isn't complicated — it's just electrolyte replenishment. a fizzy tab in water before or after training, made with real minerals (not just salt and sugar like most sports drinks).
your future self after leg day will be grateful.
