Long time no visits or updates.

Well this afternoon exists of a valium to calm the panic attack and wine to ease it along. Like many businesses everywhere I got notified by my boss that my days/pay will be reduced given the current world situation. Hits me more as I'm a full time employee who has always worked 5 days a week, 8.30-5pm since I was 19 (36 now).

Already have full blown anxiety for which I'm on medication for, so today has hit me really really hard. There was panicked breathing and frantic tears as I tried to wrap my head around this new work situation.

Whilst the business I work for is linked with finance and is considered an essential service, we are also hitting roadblocks with our incoming work volumes.

My silver lining (that I'm gripping tight) is that as only 1 of 3 admin members in our office, and the one with the most knowledge of our business as well as our internal IT guru, I should hopefully be one of the last options to be made redundant.

This is what I'm focusing on to stay sane and not completely lose myself in the rabbit hole of a never ending anxiety loop.

Also - wine helps a lot!!
