Tell me about yourself – one of my favorite interview questions. Allows the interviewee to shed some light on who they are and what they do – but also allows the interviewer to listen and learn and see if the person has thought about the position and is generally your first impression in the interviewing process. So are you dying for the answer to this question? Simply put - I am a leader. My passion is to watch people grow and become something strong and powerful – especially when they didn’t believe in themselves to begin with. Most interviewers don’t want to hear about your personal life, they want to hear that you are dedicated to your career and will give your blood, sweat and tears to the organization. However, as the interviewer, I encourage them to tell me about their personal life. It allows me to see how skilled they are outside of work because I know the more they do outside of work, the stronger asset they are going to be on my team.
I have a wide range of experience, but what I love is small business. I have been part of corporate America, but I always find myself at my best when it is small groups or business and true change can take place. People are able to make life changing decisions and have it affect them in their daily life.
The most exciting thing that has happened to me in the past two years is that I met Marianne and found my ally for Work Warrior. The minute we started talking about what we wanted to do and where we wanted to do go, I knew immediately that together we would make a great team and so here we are. Our goal is to help business build teams that can make their organization great.
Fearless, strong and skilled – that is who we are and what we can help you become.
