oh that's fair! honestly i think Gina would just roll with it. like she'd freak out for a bit at first but eventually she'd just be like. "well this'll make a fun story when i get home ig. at least i still get to be a detective."

but you can characterise her any way you want! maybe try writing short scenarios and thinking about how certain characters would react to get a feel for how you like writing them. there's no wrong way to do it!

Hey!gina!(or you could just answer ooc as im just asking for writing advice)

What would happen if-hypothetically-some weird guy with blue hair and his wife accidentally transported you into the year 2028 and the time machine broke down and he said he would fix it but blue hair but he ends up accused of murder so you run into his cousin and his prosecutor friend(who is not the prosecutor for this case,and is assisting blue hair’s cousin in court) and find that blue hair’s cousin is defending him,so you end up helping them because i dont think being an inspector in 1900 will be the same as being a detective in 2028 so you need to join them to get access to the crime scene(well,without shenanigans of course but i doubt it would work in a courtroom)so you end up third wheeling in the defense counsel while the other two are gay (also the prosecutor attacks people with hawks)

dw! i'll try to summarise:

Ryunosuke and Susato are basically visiting England for a while so they're staying at Baker Street. this is coming up two years post DGS2

Kazuma and Ryunosuke are dating and also Ryuu is trans because I said so

Herlock and Yujin are married

Iris now knows who her blood family is, and has come to terms with it

there's the ghost plot. Klint van Zieks, Lady Baskerville (we call her Laura) and Genshin Asogi are all around as ghosts. Klint and Barok have made peace with each other, and Kazuma and Genshin are... getting there. there's been a lot of shenanigans. recently Klint lost his memory because of something Kazuma but he's recovered now.

Ryunosuke and Barok both have magatamas and several characters have Psyche-Locks. (Barok has five black ones surrounding his trauma, and Kazuma has five red ones that were revealed when asked why he wasn't worthy of Karuma - though other characters may have them and these characters may have more!) you're to free to try and find or break any!

there's also the gramarye siblings anon! they send in asks from the mainline characters. currently Trucy and Athena have travelled back in time because why not.
