Yesterday I competed for the first time as a brown belt. This is the second time I’ve competed in middle weight and I was 7 pounds under. Still I didn’t feel like cutting weight. I won my first match against an opponent who stuck it out til the end of the division since she finished the second match nicely with a submission. So we had another match for the final, and she got the decision this time. 🥈But the absolute division wasn’t set up so well.
