Wanted to separate this screencap from the abuse post as not to derail the very real and important discussion of domestic abuse it was a response to. Because I see something else here I want to point out as a macrocosm aspect of this.

This quote makes me think of the behavior pattern of certain people in the US government - I won't name names because we all fucking know who it is at this point. And certainly on various levels and in various ways, they're abusers and we all know that, too.

They want us to know how they feel, but not how they think. Because when we grasp the real nature of their issue and their real values...we escape their domination.

Sometimes resistance begins with knowledge.
