"I couldn't see, drifting down...down..."
Every so often I come across an obscure artist by chance and fall in love with them immediately, and Worm Ouroboros is one of those artists. Their self titled debut album is carried by intricate, beautiful riffs reminiscent of the more heartfelt, bluesy Black Sabbath tracks such as "Solitude" and "Planet Caravan." And while the majority of the album is pretty light on the metal aspects, when the heavy, doomy parts hit (such as on "Winter" and "Riverbed") they certainly hit.
