Looking for honest opinions.
A few weeks ago my coworker told me about how California banned plastic bags in grocery stores, making customers use re-useable eco-friendly bags. I wrote to the governor of Pennsylvania about this (Gov. Wolf). But I have some things to figure out. At the store where I work, re-useable bags cost 99 cents. If we ban plastic bags, would we give the re-useable ones out for free? If not, would we depend on customers to bring their all their bags every time they go shopping? What if they buy more groceries than they have bags for? I will continue to research the topic and go from there.
