It’s 8 in the morning and the sun is just beginning to rise. You are asleep next to me. This is exactly how I want my life to be. Waking up next to you. You look so peaceful when you’re asleep. Like all the pain and misery has been washed away while your eyes are closed. I want more than anything to be able to make you this happy. I know that I can’t though and we will always have our struggles. What are you dreaming of? I hope whatever it is, I’m there. I just want to hold you like this every morning. I would never complain about early mornings again. Because the sooner I wake up, the sooner I get to see your face. It’s 8 in the morning and I look like shit because I turn in my sleep a lot. My makeup is under my eyes and my hair is everywhere. But you. You look perfect even though you’ve been asleep for 7 hours. Is this love? I don’t know, but it’s the closest thing to love that I’ve ever seen.
