After so long, I'm finally answering this question
Here are some relationships Kate has with the other cogs
Dave and Kate are best friends! She helps him film his music videos and they love to dance together. Dave doesn't know about her true nature but if hy did, hy wouldn't care about it at all, that's how much of a friend hy is (apart from the fact hy doesn't care about toons at all)
Kate is also friends with Belle, but it's more of a slippery slope, as they do have things in common like living in older times but they have completely different cultures, so Kate basically has to lie her way through conversations.
Surprisingly, Ben doesn't know about Kate being a toon. As he would any other person, he tells gossip to her, it intrigues her very much what these cogs go through! And also it's good information about how cog culture works, she's listening AND learning.
Now I didn't do any illustrations for these last 2, but Misty is one of the few cogs that knows about Kate's toon form, as she willingly presented it to her. Kate is their ray of sunshine, more than eager to teach misty what toons are like, and cheers them up when they're down. Misty and Kate are yuri.
Big Slugger (made by my dear friend Cali) is also one of Kate's friends. She also knows about her true form and they are joyful together. Big is ready to defend Kate anytime.
