GUESS WHO'S BACK.
After a brief hibernation, the Worst Pop Band Ever returns to the Rex Hotel every Tuesday in March (6:30-8:30pm), in support of their latest EP, "Sometimes Things Go Wrong (and other songs we shouldn't play)". The five song EP, recorded live at the Cellar in Vancouver, features 4 covers including, Radiohead's “High and Dry” (last performed as part of Now Magazine’s and Harbourfront Centre's Soundclash).
Even though, their last album, "Dost Thou Believeth in Science" received both national and international acclaim from traditional and online media and even reached #28 on Canadian College Radio Chart – Earshot, the band decided to try something different and do a digital only release this time out. In an effort to thank fans, they will be releasing a different single each week in March for free from their BANDCAMP. The full album can also be purchased on iTunes if you'd prefer.
Despite the band name, the band has been a mainstay of the Toronto jazz scene and the individual members have played with a who's who of the Canadian Music Scene, from Feist to the Shuffle Demons; Tanika Charles to Amanda Martinez - two of them even managed to win Junos. The band consists of Chris Gale on Sax, Adrean Farrugia on Keys, Drew Birston on Bass, Tim Shia on drums and LEO37 on turntables. Check the calendar to your right for dates in your city!
Be well world.
Questions for you: 1) What scents remind you of romance? | 2) What is the strangest potty training tip you've received so far? | 3) When Travis is a lot older and more independent, what would you like to do with your free time? | Question for Eric: What lessons are you most eagerly anticipating teaching your son?
Honestly, Eric's cologne. Play by Givenchy.
Haven't gotten any really strange ones yet.
Work and go to school!
Question for Eric: Drum lessons. Rudiments, single and double stroke rolls, paradiddles, and flamadiddles. My goal is for him to have better chops than his old man.

translucentdeceptions asked: When did you start planning your proposal? After we purchased the ring in December of 2010. From there I had about four differnet times planned to propose to Autumn but each one of them fell through, each for different reasons. It wasn't until our our five year anniversary that I started planning again. For the past two years Autumn and I have made an effort to take at least one trip together around fall. This past year we chose to explore the Wilds Of Michigan for our annual trip and a little belated five year anniversary getaway. I seen this as my next opportunity and a really great one at that. Throughout the trip I had three or four different opportunities at some really incredible places but there was something off and no one was around to take photos like I had wanted. That was one thing I was going for that I knew Autumn would appreciate. Our last day was coming to an end and we went down to the beach to watch the sunset. This was when I made my move. Anonymous asked: Eric, What is one thing you would say you are proud of yourself about?
Before Autumn and I had Travis, I was working for a mirror maze company and we would travel all over, hand building mirror mazes. Places including Panama City, San Francisco and The Mall of America. As well as Ontario, Canada and Sodertalje, Sweden.
I'm an artist and a craftsman. I was given the opportunity to put my talent to use and help build and paint (detail) these incredible amusement attractions. I am proud of that. People really enjoy them and they'll always be there!
Here's where you can check out some photos, if interested.

trexchristine asked: What's your favorite thing to do with Travis and Autumn? Really, I just love any days we can just hang out together at the house cooking, playing, watching movies, and just relaxing. Other than that I like little things like taking Travis on nature walks and to the park. Also, I really enjoy our family traditions and other seasonal celebrations.
Eric! What is your favorite vegetable?
Asparagus on the grill.
