Look at the smile on this little man's face! He was one of the first students I met back in August - he came up to me and we talked on the walk to and from school my first day. When we see each other during the day, we catch up and he's always surprised I remember his name - I just realized today that I teach over 600 students a week, so I guess he's probably right to be surprised! His name is SeungHoon and he's a first grader - I teach half second and all of third this semester, so maybe he'll be my student next semester! He found me during lunch and his homeroom invited me to play soccer with them. They called it the "one bounce game" - everyone stands in a circle and lifts the ball so it bounces one time before the next person touches it. It's like pingpong with a soccer ball and many people. If you let it bounce more than once before you kick it, you're out. The last person gets to blast the soccer ball at everyone else's butts. "One bounce game" - a middle school boy favorite.
