AO3 Wrapped (Writer's Edition)
How many words have you written this year? 246,800
How many works did you publish this year? 13
What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)? m.i.a. I loved writing Jason's silly (and smart) goons.
What work of yours has the most hits? with crimson hands.*
What work of yours got more feedback than you expected? This is recent, so it's fresh in my mind: fine print. It was like pulling teeth to write it, and I wasn't expecting to get a big response.
Favorite title you used? beware the patient woman.
If you use song lyrics, which artist’s songs did you pull from the most? I believe only the above is a song lyric title this year and it's from A Little Wicked by Valerie Broussard.
Pairing you wrote the most for this year? Tim Drake & Jason Todd, as usual.
Favorite pairing you wrote for this year? I enjoyed writing Dick & Jason, especially in what's in a name.
What work was the quickest to write? All of them languish for long periods of time in between writing an outline/first scene, but I think I wrote the rest of fine print in an afternoon.
What work took you the longest to write? with crimson hands took forever because I had no idea where I was going with it.
How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year? Uhhh, I plead the fifth.
What’s your longest work of the year? leash.*
What’s your shortest work of the year? beware the patient woman.
What WIP are you taking into next year with you? Published? None, though I'm thinking about adding an extra chapter to unrefusable offer.
What’s your most common “Additional Tags” tag? Whump.
Your favorite character to write this year? Surprisingly, Dick Grayson. I don't know what this says about my sibling issues.
The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year? Timmy. My characterization of him is in flux at the moment.
What’s one pairing you want to explore next year? Probably write more Dick & Jason.
Which work of yours have you reread the most? with crimson hands, because it took so long to write.
How many kudos in total did you get this year? 59,425
Which work has the most comments? m.i.a.*
Did you do any collaborative works this year? Sadly, no.
Did you write any gifts this year? Yup! A birthday gift, and two exchange fics.
Did you receive any gifts this year? Yup, 4!
What’s your most common category? Gen.
What do you listen to while writing? Nothing, unless I'm writing a longfic, those usually get a playlist.
Favorite work you wrote this year? I had a lot of fun with as you wish.
Favorite line/passage you wrote this year? There is a famous saying—misattributed and mistranslated—that claims if you wait long enough by the river, you will see the corpses of your enemies float by. They don’t mention that you have to destroy the dam first. I love this bit, and am still sad that no one appears to have caught the implication.
Biggest surprise while writing this year? That people apparently like my fight scenes, even though to me, it's a fight to get them on the page.
*Ignoring Batcellanea, which is a behemoth that has destroyed my stats permanently.

What work of yours has the most hits? heat-seeking missile.*
What work of yours got more feedback than you expected? People liked plus sign more than I expected, though I probably should've been expecting it after the popularity of regrowth. People love to see Slade being an idiot.

20 Questions: Writer’s Edition!
@remedialpotions, thanks for the tag ❤ !
How many works do you have on AO3?
18 so far (I am yet to transfer all my fics from FFN -that’s another WIP)
What’s your total AO3 word count?
265,067
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
Only Harry Potter!
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
When Fate Decides Fly Away Home Beyond Words A Moment Lost Unspoken Promises Honourable Mention : In Search of Hermione (it’s partly (8/60 chaps) posted on AO3 but it’s my all-time most popular fic
Do you respond to comments, why or why not? I used to try and reply to all. I can barely do that anymore as I get very little spare time now and try squeezing in a chapter update when I do. Also, I get pretty tongue-tied when I see all the lovely reviews so I try saying thanks by writing some more...
Fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
All that I want to tell you For all the angst in my stories, I do prefer to have only happy endings. Not for this one though - this is the saddest fic I have ever written.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
I’d say Stranger Stranger . the fic itself is pretty angsty at the start which makes the ending all the more happy? Does that make sense? (it does in my head)
Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Nope. Not my thing.
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Oh, plenty. Still do.
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yes, when I am in the mood for it. Mostly smut with a lot of feels. (Mostly)
Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not that I know of...
Have you ever had a fic translated?
I have been approached for translating a few in Chinese and Russian. Did request them to credit me and send me a link. But I haven’t heard back so I don’t really know 🤷♀️
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not exactly co-written but Fly Away Home was @jenn582‘s plot baby which she allowed me to adopt and I’ve had loads of fun working out the details with her.
What’s your all time favorite ship?
Ron/Hermione of course 💕 What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Oh, it’ll take me a while but I will wrap up all of them for sure. Unfinished work gives me a lot of anxiety 😬
What are your writing strengths?
Honestly, I have zero clue. Plots, I guess? Being able to stuff in a lot of crazy WTF moments? (Is that a strength at all?!)
What are your writing weaknesses?
commas and em-dashes. 🤐
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
Never tried but wouldn’t mind with a language that I know thoroughly. Since I speak/read/write three languages I know google translate messes up rather miserably at times. So I wouldn’t dare rely on it.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Harry Potter.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? As strange as it may sound, it’s a one-shot I wrote just a few days back. Inexplicably Fond. It came out exactly as I had envisioned. Loved doing this! tagging @aloemilk @honouraryweasley12 @trademarkblue
tagged by @hellfre - thank you!

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
I reply as much as I can, because comments are very much appreciated. Sometimes you can have a back-and-forth dialogue about your fic with someone in the comments section and that's really THE BEST :D
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
An End Comes to All Good Things - This is the only thing I've written where Charles and Erik start off in a relationship in the fic, split up and don't get back together by the end.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
The Master of Charlton Park - The ending is so fluffy it makes my teeth hurt lol.
Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
I've written a few Avengers/X-Men fic but I would categorize them as fusions vs. true crossovers? Crossovers in general aren't my thang.

Plot, smut, 'rip your heart out' angst and cliff hangers!!!
What are your writing weaknesses?
Description/scene setting, I am terrible at it.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

We'll Always Have Paris - it's perfectly Gerec all the way. :D

Unlucky Seven (Criminal Minds) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
I try to, I really do but sometimes I get overwhelmed or can't think of the right words and so I think 'I'll come back later' and then time gets away from me then it's been months and I'm too embarrassed
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Blood & a Single Gunshot (X-Men (Alternate Timeline Movies) What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
I honestly don't know about this one... I mean, most of mine are either kinda dark-ish or more hopeful endings, unless the fic itself is mostly fluffy. Maybe I just don't write many *happy* fics...
Maybe if I had to pick... Ummm... This one?
Coming Home To You (Roswell New Mexico) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Not really, I've only written two so far. A Westlife/Blue mix and an X-Men/Da Vinci's Demons crossover (which is actually the craziest but also one of my absolute fave fics of mine). I do hope to one day write a Roswell New Mexico/Prodigal Son crossover though
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Yes! on two X-men fics and one of my RNM fics, guess it just comes with the territory though
Do you write smut? If so what kind?
I try to... and what kind? the bad kind because i'm terrible at it.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Technically once but a bunch of fics were taken and posted to wattpad or something without our permission, so it wasn't just me.
Have you ever had a fic translated? Yep and the translated work is my second most hits fic on my ao3
A Matter of Trust 信任练习 (X-Men: First Class (2011) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I tried... Was contacted once years ago by someone who offered to co-write with me and they only contributed one scene which I did use but the other 46k words of the fic were all mine...
What’s your all time favorite ship?
I don't think I can pick... Some have the longevity of being in my heart way longer while others were canon and others should've been Endgame... If I have to choose one then I'd probably have to say Jack & Daniel from Stargate SG1 because it's what got me reading fic in the first place.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
Until You're Resting Here With Me (Roswell New Mexico)
I'm really trying but I have zero interest in this fic anymore... I'll never finish Fairy Alex either (When an Alien Loves A Fairy)
What are your writing strengths?
I enjoy writing dialogue/conversations and I think I'm pretty good at that.
What are your writing weaknesses?
Trying to write smut... my attempts are cringe
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I've tried it a few times but only by using a translate website so I always feel I'm doing it wrong and don't want to insult readers by misusing the terms/context
' What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Stargate Atlantis but I never actually finished or posted anything.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? I have like 5, okay? Gryffindor Pride (Roswell New Mexico)
Something so Wrong that Feels so Right (Roswell New Mexico)
Maybe Tomorrow (X-Men: First Class /Da Vinci's Demons)
