I randomly put on a film that I’ve never actually seen. I never saw it because everyone told me that it was not very good. I needed a background flash of colour. And now I am stuck watching this awful film.
Feel free to guess what it is. If you can get it in 20 questions, I will gift you with one of my favourite gifs.
Edit to add guesses already in the comments. Feel free to join in.
got the tag from @kcwriter-blog and @pooyaaaaan! Here we go.
1. What’s your blog title from?
The Gaze that cuts through masks is from A Series on Animals by Nochi Oskolkya. Specifically on the owl.
There's a running theme with Saethre - the owl symbolizing death, wisdom, sight through darkness but also connects her to a backstory of her fear of Falon'din and traumatic beliefs she has about herself that evolve over time. For Saethre the owl begins as something she fears, but eventually it becomes her guide. The gaze that cuts through masks also described Saethre a bit - it's a positive and negative trait.
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
I recently rewatched The Last Unicorn and I think the same thing since the very first time I watched it as a kid - highly emotional. I love it.
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
In the fandom - Dragon Age Kiss Week and Inquisitor Appreciation Week.
In my personal life - going out every day into my veggie garden watching it grow and enjoying a glass of wine while I tend to it.
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
Just write and read and lay in a hammock and camp.
5. Drink of choice?
Coffee in the morning. A glass of white wine in my garden or with friends. And water. I love drinking water.
6. Hair routine?
Right now it's too long for me so it's always up in a bun. I'm getting it cut in a couple weeks. I don't handle long hair very well.
7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?
I love canoeing and me and some others take an annual canoe trip. This year it's coming up in August.
8. Favourite month and why?
September. I love fall. I love the colours and the temperatures. September is my favourite bonfire time.
9. Favourite time of day and why?
Early morning, 5:30/6 am. It's still, quiet and peaceful.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
I don't play but I follow handball because my husband is a handballer and hey, gotta support the team!
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
Depeche Mode.
12. Dishes or laundry?
Dishes. I hate laundry. It's because I'm horrible at folding clothes.
13. Something you learned recently?
That when cats lick their lips, they're nervous.
14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?
Nothing. I don't believe I am an expert on anything that would warrant me giving a TED talk. Maybe a talk on how much I love Solas and why. 😂
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
Let it go.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?
Let it go.
17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any?
I believe in karma and that we reap what we sow.
18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?
I used to play flute years ago and was part of an ensemble and did play in front of people. I sometimes think about picking it up again.
19. Write, type or speak?
Write.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
I love talking about dreams so when anyone asks me what are some of the most interesting/strangest dreams I will yap yap yap.
Who wants to yap about themselves? I'd love to learn more. @hare-of-andruil @haezelnut @fadetouchedlurker @unhingedjune @ashillayn @swordsandshields99 @celesenova @amoaliquis @emmaswanned @fortheloveofsolas @loreofthedasposts @cryptid-catt

18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?
My friend called me a zesty chopstick one time and I thought it was funny
• Latest movie? What did you think? I watched The Emperor's New Grove for the first time, I really enjoyed it, it was much better than I thought it'd be.
• What are you looking forward to right now? Not much, just lookin forward to Art Fight being over so I can work on other projects
• If you could do anything at all today, what would it be? Sleep Probably just put together this model globe i bought
• Drink of choice? Sprite, specifcally when I go to restaurant, and Gatorade
• Hair routine? Shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I don't have a lot of hair.
• Favourite way to travel? Plane, car rides suck and I get queasy on boats. I'd like to try a train tho.
• Favourite month and why? October, definitely. Fall's my favorite season, I love the weather, and Halloween's my favorite holiday, i like dressing up, so its just the perfect month.
• Favourite time of day and why? Probably like 9-12, it's just the time I get to do all the stuff I want to do.
• Do you play or follow any sports? Not competitively, but I currently ice skate, and I used to to do Jiu Jitsu (I hated it tho). I don't really like watching sports, but if I had to choose, it'd be hockey
• What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately? Particularly PEGGY, but like, that genre of music.
• Dishes or laundry? Laundry, I actually hate doing dishes, it just overwhelms me, and the texture makes me want to kms (my feelings on them are very similar to Jelly's)
• Something you learned recently? Considering I just had my first shift at my new job, I learned a lot about how the service industry works
• What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything? Pokémon. 👁👄👁
• Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot? I tend to be the one people come to for relationship advice (god knows why, I've never been in one) but a lot of the time the answer is just "bro just fucking talk to them" (not that exact phrasing lmao)
• Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago? Don't let people get to you, it's much better to just be nice and patient than snap at them for every little thing. (And it doesn't matter what your dad thinks about you)
• Do you believe in luck and superstitions? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rituals? Not really, and I lose things too often to have any lucky objects.
• Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience? I like to sing, but I would never in a million years get on a stage and sing. (I have done normal theater before)
• Write, type or speak? Like communication wise, it really differs by person, cause some people I'd rather text than talk to, and some people I hate texting (my bsf's dry af lol) Otherwise, I tend to type the most, just cause its the most convenient, but I tend to get my words out best when I'm just writing them down
• What do you wish someone would ask you? Just like any hyper specific question about my interests. When it's like "oh, what are you into" "what's that?" I always get awkward and embarrassed, but i can ramble for hours over specific questions.
I like to write, and I like dragons, and if i change the "a" in dragon-writer to a "4" , the blog name wasn't taken lol
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
The new "Supergirl" movie. I liked it. But then again, I have a weakness for tough, non-sexualized female characters who beat up the bad guys. Sue me.
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
Seeing an old friend or two, traveling, board game friday at work, fencing class, reading some of my friends fics
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
Sleep in, write fanfic, work on music, hang out with friends, and swordfight.
5. Drink of choice?
I love coffee, but it doesn't like me lol. I usually go for a mocha. hot chocolate is a winter comfort drink.
6. Hair routine?
Shampoo, conditioner, blow dry because i hate wet hair
7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?
Train, probably. You can still move around and stare out the window, but nicer than a plane. Still, flying is really convenient. There are so many train rides that will literally take you days and a plane will only take you one day to get there.
Lol I could say spaceship but quite frankly the idea of being an astronaut terrifies me. Maybe when I'm older...
8. Favourite month and why?
June probably, tho this June was super hot. My favorite summer fruits are getting ripe (plums, apricots, peaches), there are flowers and it's warm and sunny, and SOMETIMES WHEN THE CLIMATE CHANGE ISN"T TERRIBLE, it's not too hot.
9. Favourite time of day and why?
I like sunset. Seeing the sky go up in flames is gorgeous and one of my favorite things.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
Currently, I run, rock climb, and do fencing. I played fastpitch softball for 12 years growing up, did cross country in high school, dabbled in ballet, gymnastics, soccer, and basketball as a kid, and tried out swimming and biking after college. I want to try medieval fencing, and in the hopes of cosplaying buffer characters (*cough* Beauregard Lionett *cough*) I want to take up weight lifting and some kind of martial art. Oh, and a dream is to do horseback riding, but it's not really affordable where I live.
I don't really follow professional sports, except I do LOVE to watch the Olympics and occasionally follow ice skating. I enjoy baseball games and ice hockey, but going to a game in person is so much better than watching on TV. Oh yeah, I wanna take figure skating lessons sometime, too. Oh, and get back into archery.
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
Literally playing this song on repeat. The opening montage of this movie is stuck in my head.
12. Dishes or laundry?
Laundry. Dishes are my depression weakness. I am super gross and have trouble finding the spoons to do dishes (they're an absurdly high level spell slot compared to laundry, which is like a first-level spell at most)
13. Something you learned recently?
How Odysseus' bow was strung:
14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?
Probably an introduction to fencing or rock climbing. I could teach the fundamentals and some of the theory.
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
Idk, people don't really ask me for advice lol. I did just tell a coworker that life doesn't end at 25 tho.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?
Idk. Five years ago me was really depressed, and I'm really not sure I have any advice for her. I survived.
17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any?
Not really.
18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?
I sing, and I had piano lessons as a kid, and I mess around on the guitar, but play quite badly. I love performing. I haven't really done much since high school choir, but I do love to sing for people, and with people, and I'd like to get good enough at guitar to play in a band.
Fun fact: I have terrible stage fright, so while I do love to sing for people, I often freeze up.
19. Write, type or speak?
It depends? Every medium has its purpose. I love writing, but sometimes you really just want to rant or ramble about something aloud, and laughing with a friend simply can't be replicated. In terms of writing, I guess if that means writing by hand, I do often prefer typing because I can type much closer to the pace of my thoughts, while writing by hand is much slower. That being said, I do love a good handwritten note, and I've dabbled in calligraphy, and I like making swirly letters and doodling in the margins of my notebooks.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
not sure. honestly sometimes i just think i need to be held. i just wish it would be okay.
Thanks for the tags, @gatesofminrathous, @slothquisitor, and @thewyvernrising!
1. What's your blog title from?
I had to go look because I haven't changed it in awhile, currently it's "but enough about that" which is from this Make Some Noise skit. Zac Oyama's comedic timing is everything to me.
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
Predator (1987). I'm simmering in anxiety for a lot of reasons right now, frog-in-boiling-water style, and there's something very soothing about a cheesy action movie.
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
I'm going to a WBNA game on Sunday and they're just so fucking fun. These women are so badass and strong and FAST, and the last game I went to was full of families including tons of little kids and it's just a great reminder of how the world is changing for the better in a lot of ways. Seeing women play professional sports in a giant arena is just a normal part of these kids' childhoods! How great is that??
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
Call out sick from work, put on my bathing suit, and park my ass in a river.
5. Drink of choice?
My drink preferences are so situational. I do drink coffee every morning though, and I need to switch back to decaf. Too much caffeine is (you guessed it!) bad for my anxiety.
6. Hair routine?
N/A, I have a buzz cut (that's sorely in need of a trim bc I swear my hair grows faster in summer?). Part of the reason I shaved it all off in the first place a few years ago is because I don't want a hair routine. When it's long, my hair is the type of wavy-curly that takes so much effort to tame and I just cannot be bothered.
7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?
In anywhere but the US? Train. In the US? Car. I love a road trip. I love driving new places and seeing new things and listening to good music and eating good snacks.
8. Favourite month and why?
October, babeyyyyy. I'm a basic bitch at heart, I love a PSL, I love scary movies, I love crunching leaves under my shoes, I love how fall smells.
9. Favourite time of day and why?
Lately, I'm really enjoying the time right after sunset. My apartment balcony faces west, and as soon as the sun dips behind the west hills it gets way cooler outside than in my living room, so I like to get all my evening chores done and then sit out there and read and watch the light fade and the crows fly towards downtown and the bats start to come out. It's really peaceful.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
I don't play sports but I love the communal energy of a live sports game. I'm going to a few WBNA games this year, I go to a Pickles game (baseball that's somewhere below the minors idek) and roller derby bouts at least a few times a year, and I head up to Seattle for a Seahawks game once a year. Still need to get to a Thorns game and maybe this is the year I'll check out a Winterhawks game idk. OH and I'm excited to tune into women's pro league baseball soon!
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
This morning I woke up with West Coast by Coconut Records stuck in my head so I've been on kind of an OC soundtrack kick today.
12. Dishes or laundry?
My brain keeps wanting to turn this question into gym/tan/laundry because I'm Jersey Shore trash. But to answer the actual question, dishes. I try to do a kitchen tidy every night before bed. Future Goldfish always appreciates it.
13. Something you learned recently?
Earlier this morning @gatesofminrathous told me that Beth no longer runs the recipe blog Budget Bytes and I'm still not over it.
14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?
How reality tv holds up a mirror to society and is often about so much more than vapid people arguing about nonsense (although it is very much about that too), and the franchises that people tend to ridicule the most (ie: Real Housewives) are largely about women and marketed towards women and there's a lot of misogyny, of both the regular and internalized varieties, involved in that ridicule.
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
"Do you need to eat something? Take a break and go eat something." Maybe I just know a lot of hangry people, but I'm losing track of how many times I'll be talking to someone who's very worked up or cranky or overwhelmed and ask them when the last time they ate something was and find out it was like 7 hours ago. A good meal (or even a snack!) isn't going to fix everything, but it will at least give your brain some more energy.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?
Don't let your world get too small.
17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rituals?
Well I check co-star every day and I like when @dags-over-caravans pulls a tarot card for me and I make a wish at 11:11 if I happen to notice the time and I wholeheartedly agree with @slothquisitor about jinxing things and I'm constantly knocking on wood. So yes, but mostly just for funsies?
18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?
I'm a decent singer and have performed for an audience (high school theater nerds unite!) but not in a long time. Unless karaoke counts? I want to play instruments. I've tried learning the flute, guitar, piano, and violin as a kid and none of them stuck. I'm currently trying to teach myself to play the drums enough to decide if I want to pay for lessons. Drums might stick. Drums are fun.
19. Write, type or speak?
I'm overthinking this question. Are we talking about casual conversations? Speaking. Otherwise, typing.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
Do you need a hug?
Tagging @dags-over-caravans, @epiphany-jones, @adejareve, @blightwashed, @gloaminghagette, @skogrr, @gingervitus, @genjyoandgojyoandhakkai, and @juniper-and-dragonthorn if you haven't and you wanna.

Thanks @cep-stories (answers) and @cinder-rellish181 (answers) for this tag.
It feels so weird to talk about myself here and not my OCs, but ok - here we go.
1. What's your blog title from?
My blog title, "A Weakness for Wizards" comes from me posting mostly about Galemancing OCs, but also because I've always had a huge crush on wizards, starting with Gandalf. You can be old, young, whatever, if you can do magic I'm into it.
My tumbr handle - kt-catt is just what I was already using on Discord, AO3, etc. My name is Katie, and the handle is just a play on "kitty cat," because I've had multiple "kitty"-related nicknames in my life.
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
Latest: I Love Boosters. I loved it. If you are interested in the idea of a surrealist anti-capitalism film with amazing music and crazy fashion, then here you go.
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
Cooler weather. We actually haven't suffered too bad compared to everyone else this year but I like it to be below 80F (~27C).
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
Anything at all?! Maybe make it a Groundhog Day but everything not's erased at the end of the day and I'd just catch up on all my shit so that by the end I would have had one superhuman day and cleared out my neverending to-do list.
5. Drink of choice?
Going by the single drink I drink most often? Water. But that's boring. I'm a one-drink lady these days, so when I go out to dinner I usually have a glass of wine.
We have so many interesting cocktails here that when I go out to a bar I usually pick whatever looks good, but when I was younger my go-to drink was a gin gimlet.
6. Hair routine?
I have fine hair so I have to wash it every other day. It doesn't air dry that nicely so when I wash it - heat protector + blow dry. On a non-wash day, just brush it. If I'm going out, I'll straighten it.
7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?
Any way? I think I've traveled just about any way it's possible to travel and I'll go on pretty much any kind of trip. Our go-to is to go to a big city for just a couple of days, then either rent a car and travel around to lesser-traveled places, or take a train. The one thing I've never done is a cruise, so we've planned a winter river cruise in Europe with my parents. I think that's about all the cruise I can handle but I'm excited to try it!
8. Favourite month and why?
Hmm. Right now, it might be April because during March I'm just dying for winter to be over and to have a few warmer, sunnier days and we usually get that in April. Also it's so gorgeous in the spring where I live. There's so many flowers and blossoms everywhere, and I'm not that allergic to the spring plants. (It's the summer grass that kills me).
9. Favourite time of day and why?
During the summer, I love the early morning. I usually start my day outside on our back patio with my coffee and it's not too hot yet and everything is quiet and peaceful and we get lots of birds coming for breakfast and baths.
Once it gets too cold to sit outside, then I love the time between getting in bed and going to sleep where I can just quietly read until I get tired and fall asleep.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
No, I'm not a sports girl. I was a dancer when I was young, so I spent most of the hours I wasn't in school in class, rehearsal, or performances. That was my version of sports.
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
I usually just have one long, constantly evolving playlist I listen to, but recently I've also been listening to a '60s/'70s playlist I made for my dad last time he visited (he always complains about my music).
12. Dishes or laundry?
Honestly, I don't mind either but I will pick dishes, because the problem with laundry is that my lack of object permanence (ADHD ✊🏻) means I always start laundry and forget to take it out. I have to set a million alarms to make sure it gets done properly.
13. Something you learned recently?
That a taco place I like is closing? That's not an interesting answer. *goes to my Google searches* Oh yes, here we go. I learned that in China it's a thing for pet owners to buy their pet a winter melon to lay on to help keep them cool. Here you can see why that works better for cats than dogs: https://www.instagram.com/reels/Da_JU48R0Yi/
14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?
Probably some kind of mythology? We had a version of this at work where every person gave a TED talk on some random topic and mine was my favorite lesser known Hindu goddesses. It would probably be something along those lines.
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
"It could be worse." I am actually a pretty fortunate person, so when I have troubles, even if they are bad ones, I can always think of ways it could be worse.
I also often remind myself at work that the world isn't going to end if something goes wrong. One of my first jobs was working at a place where we could shut down the stock market if we made a bad enough mistake, so every other job since then has felt low stakes in comparison and I often have to remind myself of that.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?
Hmm, right about now five years ago was when everything was starting to fall apart at my job. I probably would tell myself to go ahead and bail even if felt like I hadn't been there long.
17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rituals?
No, not really. I mean, I think luck exists but not as an intentional thing. Some people just get better outcomes than others for no real reason. For all that I am a huge fantasy nerd, I don't really believe in magical thinking in real life. (Perhaps that's why I'm a huge fantasy nerd). But if other people do, I respect that! It's not like I can prove you wrong.
18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?
No, I'm pretty tone deaf. I love to listen to it, and of course dance to it. I would absolutely never attempt to perform music for an audience but I have performed in other capacities a lot.
19. Write, type or speak?
Type. I like writing but it feels unbearably slow now. Speaking is good if I can prepare in advance or have lines to read, but I'm not the greatest at speaking off the cuff.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
Anything they've been wanting to ask but have been afraid I'll say no. :) Try me, I'm pretty easy-going and agreeable.

1. Where is your blog title from?
From my mind. I came up with it super fast, scared to start overthinking😅
2. Latest movie? What did you think?
Sheep Detectives. It was ok (I’m not a fan of quirky movies like that but the sheep were soooo adorable)
3. What are you looking forward to right now?
A date night with my husband. Hopefully this weekend if my parents can babysit🙏
4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
I’d spend all day doing nothing, reading, writing, watching shows and at night I’d go out to dance.
5. Drink of choice?
Non alcoholic - coffee. Alcoholic - a White Russian.
6. Hair routine?
I wash and conditioner it, sometimes I apply a mask. Then I use a heat defence spray and blow dry the shit out of my hair bc if I don’t, my blond bob looks like a nest lol the last step is a texturizing hair spray for the roots.
7. Favorite way to travel? Is there another way you want to try?
Teleportation would be nice😁 I’d say cars for a short distance (as a passenger, I don’t drive) and trains for long distances. I appreciate flying for how fast it is but I always do it scared😅
8. Favorite month & why?
June. Summer is my favourite season so I’m excited about its start. Plus my vacation usually begins in June.
9. Favourite time of the day & why?
Nighttime. My kid goes to sleep and I can pause being a mom lol watch grown up shows/movies, read or/and write.
10. Do you play or follow any sports?
I only do Pilates and yoga. I don’t watch any sports.
11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?
Today it’s I belong to you by Lenny Kravitz. It’s the song I got for Fucktober writing challenge hosted by wonderful @baronessvonglitter 💞 I’ve been humming it allllll day😁
12. Dishes or laundry?
Ew. No. Neither.
13. Something you learned recently?
That putting sunscreen just on your face is not enough to protect yourself and avoid pigmentation. You need to apply it all over your uncovered body bc skin is one organ.
14. What could you talk about if you give a TED talk on anything?
Mmm I’m not sure I’m such an expert in anything😅
15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
Go to bed!!! my sleep schedule is fucked up.
16. Piece of advice you would give yourself 5 years ago?
5 years ago I was going through self diagnosed ppd so I guess - see a therapist and ask for help more often. And start reading fanfic already lol
17. Do you believe in luck or superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any rules?
I consider myself pretty lucky but I don’t carry anything and don’t believe in stuff like that. I’m not superstitious.
18. Are you musical (play any instruments? Sing? Would you perform for an audience?)
My husband says I sing when I cook (I don’t notice myself doing it lol) I own a guitar but I can’t play it. I tried to learn when I was a teenager but quit. Maybe Joel could teach me?😍😍🤭
19. Write, type or speak
Type! I hate phone calls and hate writing by hand.
20. What do you wish someone would ask you?
Where should I transfer one million dollars for you? 🤑
Npt💞 @milla-frenchy @604to647 @sawymredfox @kokoluwie @partyypoisons @koshkamartell @baronessvonglitter @toxicanonymity @ningaispunk @tateypots @ess-evo If you’ve done this already tag me pls so I can read your answers👀
How many works do you have on AO3?
305! (Good grief, when did it get that high?)
What is your total AO3 word count?
2,184,753. Truly I have Wordy Bitch Disease.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
With a Conquering Air
Must Brave the Thorns
Only Love Proudly and Gladly and Well
Twirl Three Notes and Make a Star
With Tenderness and Nobleness
What fandoms do you write for?
The Witcher! I've written for others but not under this pseud.
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Usually not, because I have had to choose between responding to comments and writing the fic, and I chose fic. I do cherish all of them and go re-read them when I'm feeling down.
What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably Solitaire, which ends with pretty much everyone dead.
What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I write a lot of happy endings, so this is rather a hard question. I'm going to go with Must Brave the Thorns, because it is very much a romance novel and romance novels end with a happily ever after!
Do you get hate on fics?
To my mild surprise and immense pleasure, no.
Do you write smut?
Yep! Frequently and gleefully.
Do you write crossovers?
Yes, although I don't think I've got any finished and published at the moment. I'm working on a Valdemar/Witcher crossover when I can make the bunnies cooperate. (Because Vanyel deserves Nice Things.)
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I think so, but I think they took it down fairly quickly.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes, many, and it fills me with joy!
Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
Yes! I have had the pleasure of cowriting fics with Bouncey and with @starbirdrampant!
What's your all time favorite ship?
I'm not sure I can choose! I very much like any combination of Geralt, Jaskier, and Eskel; and any combination of Lambert, Aiden, Voltehre, and Milena.
Whats the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Ooh. I hope to finish all of them someday, but there's a strange little modern AU I started years ago now, with Jaskier becoming a receptionist for the witchers, that isn't really going anywhere and yet that I think would be fun if I could make it cooperate.
What are your writing strengths?
Apparently I'm good at depicting and eliciting emotion!
What are your writing weaknesses?
I tend to forget to describe people physically, and even when I remember, it's not usually very specific.
Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
I don't, generally. It can be done well, but I'm not sure I would do it well. I'll use single words here and there, but not usually full sentences.
First fandom you wrote for?
In this pseud, the Witcher. Lo these many years ago when I was a very small inex indeed, I wrote fic for various fairy tales; I've always loved fairy tales, and I suppose they count as my very first fandom.
Favorite fic you've ever written?
Oh gracious. I have to pick? …probably Must Brave the Thorns, because it's the first time I've told a single story of that length, rather than hitting the same word count with many small stories combined, and because I think it's a good romance novel.
Tagging anyone who wants to play! (I'm very bad at tagging people, so please consider yourself tagged if you want to be!)
