Ready for Another Saren/Female Shepard Prompt?
It involves a Fantasy AU with Saren Arterius depicted as a typical Dark Lord but with some subversions, and Jane Shepard as the Fair Maiden that’s typically the love interest of the Chosen One.
The Prophecy dictates the Chosen One, Kaidan Alenko, must marry the beautiful Jane Shepard before his quest to slay the Dark Lord. However, Kaidan already has feelings for his childhood friend Ashley Williams and Jane doesn’t want to take away his happiness.
And of course Jane finds an injured Saren in a forest and tends to his wounds, which sparks a forbidden romance.
Just before the Prophets, consisting of Sovereign, Harbinger and Leviathan, could ensure the destined marriage is a success, Jane escapes the wedding with Saren through a staged kidnapping, but the Prophets waste no time to summon the Wise Old Wizard Anderson to accompany Kaidan on his quest.
Kaidan, Ashley and Anderson reluctantly go on this quest, make some new friends and end up searching the other lands for any dirty conspiracies the Prophets are hiding...all the while Saren and Jane go on their own quest to unite the divided races and restore balance from all this chaos.
