It’s the second quidditch match of Harry’s life, and he’s just as terrified about it this time than the last. Which is why it takes him until they’re out in the field to lean over and ask Wood, “Why are the twins wearing each other’s numbers?” 

“They’re not,” he says, before looking at his beaters and squinting. “Are they? How can you tell?” 

Harry means to answer, but then Madame Hooch blows her whistle, and they’re rising into the air.

Hmm, this is hard. Might just stick with the classics and say cheddar.

Ah. Probably when my civics teacher once assigned a 1-2 page essay thing that she took from some national scholarship contest and I didn’t finish it on time (and was in fact, extreeeemely late) and she told me that she would only give me credit for it if I actually submitted it into the contest. I didn’t win the national tier, but at the school tier, my paper was first, and at the district tier, I was either second or third. Anyways, I got like a $100+ gift card from that AND I never had to read it out loud to people, so that was cool.

okay, important question: how do i come up with a reason to go to office hours when anytime i try to think of my questions for a professor i feel really stupid or just blank completely? (i had this issue in undergrad too, but i walked by their offices all the time so i could just be the friendly, neighborhood botherer)

This is a very fair question!! Although I tell everyone to go to office hours, I frequently skip doing so myself because I’m not sure what to say. I end up going to visit them the most during the end of the term when I’ve started studying for finals

The two best ideas I can come up with are (1) Ask to chat about their career (email them to set this up instead of dropping into open hours, since you don’t have a classwork question) and (2) start your outline early in the semester and see if any questions arise. I always find that I don’t come up with questions until literally the last week of the quarter because that’s when I start to notice what I’m not understanding. I’ve always thought that if I started my outlines earlier in the term, I’d have much more to say in office hours.

(Seriously, I’ve watched and rewatched the show and read so much fanfic and it’s been like a month wth) 

Also, really appreciated Hardison and Parker and the Leverage ot3 in general to get me away from the previously mentioned dysfunctional ot3.

Ummm Zoey from Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. I really want to know what songs I’m singing and the people around me. Plus, she is delightfully awkward and in need of hugs and I could hug her XD

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Denna from KKC because she is my everything and I will protect her at all costs, including fighting haters online. She is so strong and a survivor and I admire her so much. I also feel the disconnect she has between being so charming around people and then just having this crippling self doubt when you are alone. She is just trying her BEST, okay??? (I know you know but it’s important) 

Felicity Smoak from Arrow because oh wow, she is the sunshine in the show compared to all the angst. I love that she is so smart and empathetic she is. And she is so competent??? I love how open she is but also how secretive she is. I also love getting compared to her. Loving her is a form of self love tbh. 

Parker from Leverage because she makes me cry and laugh. She struggles understanding her emotions and connecting with people but has such a big heart and the scene in mountain where she cries about wanting to be a good person is so heartbreaking and everyone should watch this show, thank you, bye.

5. Do you write in the margins?

for school books, yeah. sometimes I will in pencil with other books but I don’t have a habit of it 

8. What’s your glamorous imaginary pen name?

I think I might just change my first name. . . my last name is pretty distinctive and eye catching, so I want that buttttt I also want some anonymity. I’d probably name myself after a book character, like Anne, from Anne of Green Gables or something like that

Hey! Question, I'm trying to figure out how to get back in space when I have minimal room and work really long hours? Do you have any suggestions? I've started doing pushups and simply stuff when I can find the time, but I feel like Ijust don't have time

If you can lie down horizontally on the floor you have enough space to do lots of pilates and yoga moves as well as planks and push ups etc. 

You can also look into Darebee, they have lots of office/on the go workouts you can do during the day. 

Also, try to figure out where in the week you can carve out time to do exercise; right before bed, early morning, at night. This is something you do to take care of yourself, like showering, eating, and sleeping.
