We definitely spend a lot of time making it exactly how we want it to be. We’ve never really felt too much pressure to put out too much content that didn’t represent us fully. So, what we try to do is everything we do put out, we have it fully represent the spectrum of what we do musically.

This is definitely something I aspire to in my writing. I’m lucky to write for a site that gives me freedom to write what in the style that I see fit. As I continue to write and take on new challenges, it’s something I want to hold on to. Having the freedom to fully represent my thoughts on an issue is valuable and will make me a sharper, more insightful writer.

Writing Freedom

I sit and gaze north

Searching for the farthest distance

Letting my mind run wild in aimless thoughts

And my pen brings to life whatever thought comes clear first

  I don’t plan a rhythm, I don’t organize a rhyme

The words speak for themselves

I just put them on paper

Hoping that someone other than I will see its meaning

  The words come from the depths of me

My heart gives the emotion

My mind gives the logic

And my soul gives life to what’s been written

Afterwards I feel…

  Freedom

And at that point, I cannot be confined, nor controlled

With the ability to go distances beyond distances

My imagination can travel on the same length

I may never been seen, but always felt

  I create the ocean’s ripples, and can choose which way the rain falls

I blow the leaves that blanket the forest trees  

I dance with the passionate fire that lights the way out of the darkness

I can choose to cool the night or warm the day

            I go where I please and make my own way

I can pull you closer, or I can blow you away

And still remain the same

I am one with the elements of life
