I'm going to say Jane is living in New Asgard now. It's in Norway where she's been before. She can find field jobs as an astrophysicist and sometimes even a photographer with her telescopes.

It would be cool actually if she advocated for a new observatory in New Asgard as well.

However, due to New Asgard still being in development, it's still considered "off the grid."

At her core, whether she’s a nurse, a doctor, or an astrophysicist, Jane is a scientist.

Science is the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

Jane Foster would study everything she encounters especially including everything in Thor’s world and beyond. From the Aether, to Loki’s magic, to Mjolnir, etc.

Jane Foster is an intelligent and curious individual that wants to learn and understand everything she can get her hands on.

Well, I don't have much to go on yet, but I'm going to start rping as Mighty Thor Jane.

Worst case scenario, I just delete any headcanons I make up for her.

Since I have absolutely nothing work with. 🤦‍♀️

.....you have no idea how difficult it is getting a S.T.E.M. female character with a masters degree in astrophysics that has been MIA since 2013 that only has to depend on hearsay and her own research to know facts and events of everything that has taken place since her visit to Asgard to interact with current characters like Sam, Bucky, Sharon, etc.. The only person Jane has any familiarity with outside of Darcy is Loki hahahaha.

I cry when I realize all the friendships and interactions Jane was written out of in the MCU.

Did she ever meet anyone in the important circles? Was she ever consulted for her theories? Did her and Tony Stark ever trade emails? Did she ever receive anonymous messages with a Russian shorthand to protect herself?

I made myself sad again.

Two characters that are Jane's most important relationships as Mighty Thor are Sam Wilson and Loki.

These two characters are exactly the ones being further developed currently in the MCU.

Sam Wilson and Jane Foster need to meet please.

Following the aftermath of her and Thor's breakup, Jane takes relationships very cautiously and wants to establish friendship with someone first before thinking of anything else.

Jane Loves space and she never got to interact with the space stone.
