Pride or Arrogance....? I believe in protocol, i like doing things in an orderly manner , call me old fashioned but i'm not your mate, don't disrespect me under the pretense of "chairman or boss or chief". Guy calm down, you're just what? 5 years older than this guy yh? No big deal, people still demand to be called brother lagbaja these days? Why fusing up so much about it? Because i made him Bode!!!!! This idiot was nothing 4 months ago, i practically picked him up from the gutter, turned his life around, and now he is too big to call me "Uncle Kunle"!!!instead, he's calling me Chairman, Chief... i don't know if it's his family that gave me the chieftaincy title. "They both burst into laughter". Bode:- but really, calling you "uncle kunle or brother kunle" doesn't amount to respect. You know he could be calling u what u want and still disrespect you. As long as this guy respects u generally, and he does the needful, don't bother about all this uncle crap, its....... *soji cuts in* Soji:- "turns to bode" chairman, how far na, how u dey....? Soji:- no vex (sorry) *went mute again* Kunle:- guy i dey comot (i want to leave) Bode:- what the hell is wrong with all of u? I said no pidgin man! Both Kunle and Soji looked at Bode and said in unison; OKAY!!! Bode just hissed at them and left, leaving Kunle wondering what he had done or said. Soji who joined them amidst conversation said to Kunle in pidgin; but wetin dey do that ur friend sef, be like say he get brain touch. Anyway, how ur side, u never wire me that mula yet" (but what is wrong with that your friend, it's like he has a brain touch. Anyway, u're yet to send me that money). Kunle:- ok that's it! Why is it so hard for u to respect me? Young & Not Getting It Mama taught me a lot of things about life, but not its depth. She never mentioned what i’ll face in my life’s journey and as much as i thought i was prepared, i found out that one can’t be totally prepared. The world has a way of fixing a lifestyle on you, well maybe not the world, maybe it’s the humans in it. Majority of mankind want to live up to expectations, want to do what others are doing, want to be rich at 25 because they have a 25 year old neighbor who is rich, want to acquire all the riches in the world just to fit the description of the high and mighty or the young and getting it. Young and getting it isn’t a bad thing, don’t get me wrong, but what is bad is committing suicide because u’re young and not getting it, what is bad is turning yourself into a person you can no longer look in the mirror, just to fit into the young and getting it description. You wake up in the morning, check your phone, open Instagram, you see a before and after picture of someone that’s captioned “fat before, now slim”, that feels like motivation yea? You see someone else with a beautiful picture captioned “couple goals”. Another one; my new toy (G wagon). Another one; Texas yesterday, Amsterdam and Toronto tomorrow, #HumbleOne #HatersGoanDie #MoneySpeaking……. Then you begin to ask yourself, God when will you answer me? this person doesn’t have two heads. Bla bla. But then, most of these people live a borrow – pose life and you want to kill yourself because you don’t have what you think they have.
