Writing questions! 2 and 13.
Question 2 : Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?
First of all, what's really a trope? Never get the exact concept but I guess it's like a prompt? smth like that...
I still want to write a multi chapter long mermaid au (that I have started, like; 5 months ago!) and this victorian writters AU. But I'm afraid I miss knowledge for it to be authentic. I've been reading a lot of dickens and wilde to get the feeling of this area but I need to see a real documentary XD
Apart from that...
I wish I could write canon au stories XD
(did I answer the question you were asking for?)
Question 13 : What’s the best writing advice you’ve ever come across?
Well I am a dick and don't particulary listen to people who give me advices, and I actually don't remember one. But I've read a lot and, I've been writing for quite a while. Mostly shits I admit, but my shits made me learnt more than any advices I could have been given.
I'm very happy that I've tried present tense because my fav author uses it a lot.
I'm very happy that I made short sentence and then long because it gives an idea of speed in the story.
The only thing that really matters, in the end, is to write what you like, what you want to write, no mater what people are telling you, and never ever stop writing. Always write more.
There's maybe one thing one of my friend told me about art (she is a painter) (Hi loonelybird) long ago. Don't be afraid to erase what's wrong, no matter how long it is, to do it over.
Those questions are actually pretty hard to answer dammit. Thanks again for asking!
