SHE CAN'T PAINT STELLA'S NAILS BLUEBLUE BOOBOO IF SHE KEEPS MOVING!!! an annoyed huff, eyes darting up - and solveig has half the mind to sic mr. tomato sandwich on her. in fact! "tomato sandwich! get her!" said with a dramatic point, lips pursed.

mr. tomato sandwich is a gentle giant, so he huffs at solveig and puts his head back on her lap. sol's never told him to get anyone, and she was kidding. clearly. but still! sol glares at stella. "st-stop moving. my cheek doesn't hurt. st-stop trying to look at it ... i got - got that enough from jude ... and i knew - knew tomato wo-wouldn't get you ... you spoil him, so don't - don't look so put out. i - i bought this - this color for you. don't ruin my night."

HER SCRIBBLING IN HER NOTEBOOK COMES TO AN END. venus glances up and down at stella, a little hum in the back of her throat. they've crossed paths once or twice - but her twin usually handles whatever shady business he has going on with stella and that tall one that sometimes shows up around her. "if my brother is late getting you some like, cauldron scary spell shit or whatever - don't look at me. i'm not the one good at that kind of stuff. i can make you a really nice perfume, though. and get you some attention."

a shrug. venus decides, uncharacteristically, to flirt. or maybe characteristically, given the love witch thing she's meant to have going on. "or you can have my attention." a beat. she ruins it promptly. "or a hair mask. your ends are pretty dead."

LOVE MAKES HER FEEL WARM AND SYRUPY. she wonders, idly, if someone could bottle up how she's feeling and pass it off as honey - or if even that would be too sweet. it's odd, because most of the time, solveig feels like a shaken up soda - still syrupy sweet, but fizzy and ready to burst. so much excitement and joy she doesn't know what to do it. but now? now, halfway laying on jude - her pointed ear pressed against his chest, his heartbeat soothes her sweetness.

not in a way that dampens it. the love, the joy, the excitement - it still is deep in her bones, still spilling out of her in quick little hums or little shakes of her feet, but softened. like it has somewhere to go instead of overflowing and spilling on the floor. jude's turned her into something soft and languid in these moments, head tilting up to stare. her smile curves, crooked and real. "i m-miss you too. should we -- we could hide away - away under the covers - covers together. th-that way ev-everyone wo-would be missing us, but - but we'd have each other. yes?"

"here. maybe hit this and you'll calm down a little."
