“You should watch your back if you don’t want to become a target.” Forming another snowball on her hands already, Illya only commented with a mischievous smile. She didn’t know if Rin was somewhere close by or if Archer had another reason for going to town, but she wouldn’t let an opportunity like this simply pass by.

It had snowed plenty the previous night, and though the snow was slowly starting to melt away already she simply could not stay in the Einzbern castle, but instead went out to town to find someone to drag outside with her. However, meeting Archer was not what she had expected.

    Choosing to have some decorum for once in my life, I bend the knee to my king before taking her hand in mine and kissing it, unabashed in my devotion to her.  Even so, I can’t stop myself from giving her the smirk and wink I know makes her heart flutter.

    “Although, I’ll warn you now…  By the time the evening’s out, I’ll have you unable to contain your smile.”

     【♛】—— A King only grows content with the later events to provide them a pleasant festivity. Of course the King of Knights wished to make him happy, take a moment of a breather for everyone to gaze at them. It may sound selfish of Saber to request this but she wouldn’t ask for anyone else to accompany her. In fact there’s relief over being asked by his hand that took hers for a kiss. The smirk complimented his usual ‘ teasing gestures ’ that send her chest a skipped heartbeat, cheeks flustered up to note his devotion. The knight in red certainly proved in becoming her sheath who granted a fair warning. She grants a tender smile before resting a freed hand over his, giving a shake of her head.

     ❝ Y-You have no need for formalities between us in this dance, SHIROU. If we are to spend this evening together, surely my smile has never been vanquished. Will you do me the honor of projecting an appropriate attire? ❞

        COGNIZANCE ECHOES IN HER VOICE WITH A WISTFUL INTIMACY THAT TURNS UP DEAD ON ARRIVAL. The accent of his name feels displaced on her tongue, as if it’d gone unrehearsed for millennia on end. Rhetorically speaking, the rift between them had grown irreparably. She’d an inkling his obligations toward her had unwound into ribbons of disarray, but she’d no concerns for that matter, nor had she any care for whether he sought to save her, or kill her. An iterative fury is all that remains of this tempered vessel. 

         “You tempt death. For you, it is nothing strange. But my mind wonders, why it is I that you have sought.”

Nothing but trouble, the lot of them. No sooner was he finished dealing with the fallout of one’s wild dreams did another come stumbling into his life like a newborn fawn, scarcely capable of conceptualizing just how much trouble they’d cause for him.

Of course -- this complaining was for nothing. He had put in the request himself to have this one in his class, knowing that it would do him no good to wander these halls when under the tutelage of those who believed knowledge was best kept to themselves. Screw them all for wasting their student’s valuable time.

He’d teach these kids.

Even so, it went beyond that. The way Shirou used magic... So reckless and dangerous, so ineffective, yet undoubtedly advantageous. If there was a way to harness and improve that talent, then even mediocre mages like himself could greatly advance.

If they didn’t completely destroy themselves in the process. The foundation was rocky but he could work with this -- Gods knew he had far more hopeless students. Ones he’d be stuck with until the day he retired, and probably even beyond.

“Shirou, the way you practice magecraft is... unconventional, at best. But speaking frankly, suicidal is a far more apt term. How did you come about these training methods?”

     ‘Weird’ is a blanket contour for any Chaldean. Rounding a populace of heroes en masse will promise chaos wherever one goes. If he speaks of a particular incident, he will have to narrow it down to a single, notable abnormality.

     BLOOD HAD DYED OVER THE FALLEN KING’S CHEEK to stain those hands grasping excalibur morgan. bodies laid onto the ground, letting trail a familiar sight before the ALTER. eyes fell into a golden stare that grows blank at every slaying. these people who have been sacrificed were done for she could not ‘ save them ’. they represent all that fell in the past, a horrible scene to witness before this sadden king. she familiarized herself into this setting like growing grotesquely enamored about it. feeling nothing but those stings, black armored hands resume their tightened grip upon her blade. she settled in until the unfamiliar footsteps of a survivor risen --------- someone is drawing near. ( another ... who i could not save ... ) excalibur morgan’s tip touches the ground with a harsh clank, already preparing herself to finish them off. she is an unworthy king, fallen king arturia, who deserves to bathe within the blood of her victims. lips remain shut tight without whispering a single word before daring to approach. their footsteps draw near as she ran to confront them though meets with a slap to reality. the sounds began to die out thus leaving the ALTER’S armored feet to leap into the air, landing before the victim. with one swing, they shall end but ... 

     ❝  ... ... !!  ❞      BRIEF MOMENTS FROM THE ALTER KING’S BLADE CEASE laying witness over those familiar features. this ‘ victim ’ had their nostalgic scent, those eyes that carried a watchful eye over her movements ... it was her former MASTER. golden hues widen briefly as she grows stunned over those fingers grasping excalibur morgan tightly. they nearly bled on their own for halting her previous swing. for once over this wicked corruption, the alter couldn’t easily sacrifice another life. ❝  S ...                                            Today’s festivity must have passed by the King’s mind, solely believing he wasn’t the kind who pays attention to this day. For the KING OF KNIGHTS understood he made an effort to always delivering every reciprocation by remaining together with her. That sentiment alone was enough for SABER to see they’d share plenty of gifts together for a long time. Even after CHALDEA comes to an end in their objective and they must return...they’ll be heading back to eternity in AVALON like before. She turns to the direction of a familiar scenery though crafted differently for her eyes to bear witness. Emerald hues couldn’t help but marvel over the decor of dishes that weren’t permitted for anyone else to feast upon. Instead, the King receives her personal ‘buffet’ along with CHOCOLATES that took on various shapes. Her knight in red truly had a way in giving thrice than her own appreciation, somewhat making her determined to granting him all the happiness for these upcoming months.

                                           A blush forms on the King’s complexion with a tender smile displaying at the man she loves for this effort. It’s a silly question to consider in asking SABER who always felt hungry and delighted at the sheer thought of eating her SHIROU’S cooking. Reluctant to even hesitate in trying one out, fingers took hold of the chocolates for a quick bite. Between those munches were the KING OF KNIGHTS’ words that responded to his usual demeanor around others. Only in front of her did he demonstrate a soft nature. “ SHIROU, you have been known for paying attention to these festivities whenever it involves celebrating it together. But thank you kindly for these chocolates. ” Swallowing the pleasant treat, a sweetened aroma filled her mouth with pleasure. It never grows tiresome to feast on the creations her SCABBARD conducted within the kitchen. The King felt joyous from having this chance to feast on sweets and every other dish prepared by his hands. Her smile spreads like a natural response to what he prepares, letting those emerald hues gaze at the man.

                                           “ They taste delicious! May I...offer one to you with my mouth? I heard this is something romantic most couples would do for this holiday. ” Not hesitating to wait for a response, the King commits a bold move by inserting one of the CHOCOLATES into her mouth. Hands rested against his cheeks before delivering a deepened kiss to her SHIROU, noting that obvious beet red complexion. Eyes softened up with her tongue inserting the melted treat into his own though kept their lips locked together for a while. The scent between them only draws out the chocolate’s presence lingering on top their tongues that wrestled one another. For the sake of letting him breath, SABER pulls away from the kiss while gazing intently at her knight in red. “ The chocolate...tasted better in your mouth, SHIROU. ”
