@wshingwells liked for a winter fes starter ! golden ward ; silver-white winters.
Honestly, he's gotten pretty annoyed with trying to find clothes that actually fit him. Usually it was fine - the tophat, bowtie and heels combo was enough! And for the ball a few months back, all he needed was a mask and arm drapes, which didn't needed to be fitted perfectly. Now, though, that it's practically freezing all the time? He's found a few good scarves, and everything else hates him. Sure, he's warmer than most humans on default, but that doesn't matter much when wind is a factor.
So, here he is. The classes here are mostly for mittens and scarves, yes, but he'd just printed off a few cloak patterns from his jobs printer and brought them here to leach off of the yarn provided. It's going well. Really. It's not like he's learning a completely new skill, this is just - a refresher! Yes. A refresher.
Which just makes it more frustrating when he's counting under his breath, hooking the needles and yarn together, before realizing he missed something a while back. A long while back. If he had his fire back, he's ninety percent sure this would've went up in flames. Instead, there's a long pause where he resists the urge to scream - only because it would bring attention to his mistake, mind you - before bunching the yarn and needles up, sort of shaking at the whole thing and tearing some of the links apart before setting it on the table in front of him. It's fine, this is fine! Maybe he just needs to read the pattern over again. Maybe two times over.
