New version of WSJT-X
A new version of WSJT-X, the software suite that includes FT8 and other digital protocols, has introduced a new mode, Q 65. According to the release notes, it is designed to accommodate fast-fading signals and paths with Doppler shifts of more than a few Hertz.

As promised, the WSJT-X Development Group has announced a new “candidate release,” WSJT-X 2.0 rc1. This beta version of the popular digital mode suite incorporates many new FT8 and MSK144 features that will be of particular interest to the Amateur Radio contesting community. FT8- WSJT-X for newbies
TelescopeMan does a quick demo of the WSJT-X software for beginners. Sorry for the echo that occurred during the video it only lasts about 10 seconds. Apparently I accidentally hit the second microphone connection! :) It will become normal again after a few seconds. If you look under the MODE tab in the software you will see that FT8 is already selected as a default. Later you can change this to any or the other modes listed. Check my previous videos on FT8 to see an actual contact.
