BRUH I JUST REALIZED THE VERY FIRST THING WE SEE ABOUT ROBIN

IS HIM HOLDING KALEGO'S BOOK This is before we even see his FACE! Also he has his pinkie out sdlkgfhsldkf how fucking cute There's so many small details in the anime that support KalRobin! The fact that they got to watch the fireworks alone together on the rooftop! The time they spent together during the battler party, where Robin even wanted to share food with Kalego! He purposefully got two chocobananas, and then said there was no way he could eat all that himself, offering Kalego one! Robin specifically defying orders and saying he's gonna stay with Kalego to help him! Not to mention Robin actually teaching the familiar class and thinking Familiar Kalego was amazing! He seems to be glued to Kalego’s hip more often than not, too! And Robin really can't seem to stop singing Kalego's praises. Legit no one can deny that Robin has feelings for Kalego.

tbh? I think Kalego's actually just shy. He doesn't seem like it, I know, but it looks like he gets embarrassed when Robin sings his praises. That, and we also know he's a huge tsundere, even with his best friend Balam. And I mean, Kalego even gave Robin a nickname! I don't think Kalego's given anyone else a nickname, not that I can recall. And like... I think part of it, in addition to the tsundereness, Kalego has a reputation to uphold. Human highschoolers are brutal when they find out their teacher’s got a crush, I imagine demon highschoolers are ten times worse. He can’t afford to show weakness, or it’ll risk his reputation as a hardass.

But like... the significance of Robin carrying Kalego's book, and that being the first thing we see of him, even before his face.
