it depends, do you want your storyline to be part of the open world you create/ or do you want it seperate? you could always have it as REFERENCING eachother but never actually being stated so you can keep it ambiguous

WELL the storyline wouldnt be there due to the existence of everyone elses ocs id think! so it will be.. ambiguous

toby definitely used tumblr memes and shit to appeal to everyone and dont think its a bad hting i just... wish it asnt in there. i mean im not a fan of skeleton and spaghetti jokes and all that shit

i dunno, undertale was in the making for about 2-3 years and i cant really think of anything thats really directly meme related. skeletons being a “meme” was only really a thing last year, and thinking dogs are cute is just a general relatable human thing

the entire hotland section with alphys obviously draws influence from this area of the TumblrSphere TM but

i dunno ive just seen the guy talk about it a lot and i suppose while it is written to appeal to Our Kind Of People its only because toby is that kind of person as well

aww, i dunno what you mean by ‘’decent’’, but thank you i guess!! i have seen quite a bit of human designs for them around (some of them are rly sweet, especially papyruses!! so many cute ones out there!) but i realized that i am quite picky abt sans and hadnt seen one that i would... fully like yet. and i just figured i’d draw out what is in my heart. im really surprised people love it so much!
