“This place sucks, I mean other then trying to avoid those who have attempted to kill you a dozen times and trapped you in two prison worlds-.. what else is there to do.”
Anya sat an empty table at the diner where she worked, her apron was thrown haphazardly over one of the empty chairs while she scribbled in the journal that was open in front of her. It was her way of ensuring she didn’t forget this time, tallying each day she had been in this town and each day she had been without Dmitri.
When fries and a coffee were placed down in front of her she didn’t hesitate before tucking in, letting out satisfied sounds as she stuffed four fries into her mouth at once feeling eyes on her, “What- you never seen a girl eat before?” She questioned, swallowing before taking a sip of her coffee, “Just enjoying the greater things in life, even if they don’t make the best combo.” Because she had to say the one thing she loved about this place was the technology, fashion and food. The modern day was pretty incredible after all.
Jack shuffled his feet along the dirt path. He had been walking down a hiking trail for what felt like hours. He had no idea where he was, and he didn’t have a phone to call someone with. He felt tears brim his eyes as his frustration grew. “Where am I?” Jack voiced his thoughts. He worried that he would be lost forever. His wings were gone, which made the possibility of being stuck there forever seem very real. It wasn’t until he looked up and saw someone looking back at him that he felt hope that maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
Walking for hours since he first arrived in that forsaken place was finally taking its toll. He had no map, no knowledge of the area, no weapons... His stele was also not working, so he had to climb a tree on his own. Fortunately his hands had stopped bleeding by now, but he was no closer to finding a way out since he was seven hours ago. He was not pleased with himself, but he had a feeling he needed to ask someone for help. No actual help that is, he would never require help from mundanes, but maybe some directions. He noticed a group of people looking not particularly suspicious so he decided to approach them. “Ummm... I’ve got a flat tire, do you have a phone I can use to call my colleague?” While he tried to sound nice, he was sure he was grunting at some point.
clarke was sitting on the side walk, her hands resting on the side of her head, as she was staring at the pavement. her mind was trying to think of where she was, and how she got here. last thing she remembered was she was dying or something from the radiation. and then she had found herself here. she hadn’t seen any of her people here; didn’t know if they made it or not, she was hoping they did. some were in the bunker, others were travelling up to space. raven would of gotten them there, she knew that. she was hoping octavia did okay down in the bunker also. she was closing her eyes as she rubbed her hands over them, a frustrated sigh leaving her lips. “this can’t be the city of light. there are people here, which i don’t know how they got here, because we destroyed A.L.L.I.E.” she murmurs to herself, hands resting on her knees, as she was just staring at the pavement. “can’t be the mountain men, because we’re not in a dome so they can’t walk around here.” she murmurs, before blue hue looked around her. “so where the hell am i?”
Veronica knew she probably looked like a mad woman right now, standing in the line at the store, arms filled with groceries as she stared long and hard at the slushie machine on the counter. She couldn’t take her eyes away from it, freeze your brain, whispered in the back of her head followed by, our love is god. Words that still made her shudder to this day, even in her do over world. She was only broke out of her trance when she heard someone clear their throat behind her and she realised she had been holding up the queue, “Shit, sorry-” She exclaimed, moving forward and dumping her purchases onto the desk, “I sort of just got lost in my head for a second, you know how it is-.. or maybe you don’t. But yeah, sorry.”
“Really, I’m fine. I had a nap like six hours ago. I’m not tired at all.”
Belle hummed a tune softly as she ran the brush down the horses back. She hadn’t come with anything of her own but finding herself with a horse that had reminded her of Philippe had been a little bitter sweet. It reminded her of how much she was missing home and her father but equally it provided something familiar to her. The horse meanwhile seemed placid and content, tail flicking back and forth rhythmically as it nudged the girls free hand where it rubbed at his snout. “I know I asked for an adventure Sebastian, but I didn’t really have this in mind...”
